I bought this precious template some months ago. I worked on it two times for two different project, with two different computers, and although i find pixity land a great template…i find it hard working on it. IT’S REALLY SLOW.

I followed the “Some tips” Video tutorial but nothing really helped me. Every single change can be a pain for its slowness.

I used it on 2 machines:

- a windows pc assembled with an overclocked i7 4790k, 16gb of ram and two nvidia geforce gtx 970.

- a 2015 macbook pro 15”, the highest configuration, with 16gb of ram, an i7 of fourth generation (like my windows pc) and an amd radeon.

The project gets slow from the beginning in both machines, in the same manner. Every changes can cause the pc (or macbook) to freeze for a minute in elaborating those changes.

I found pixity land a great and helpful tool, but this slowness is a big big big downside, cause sometimes it gets you to work more than five minutes on a thing that requires less time.

I don’t know if you can help me more than that video tutorial to improve its usability. But being it that slow in two (powerful) different machines i suspect that there’s something going wrong with the template.

I forgot to mention that both computers has adobe after effects cc 2015 installed.

I’m customizing this template for a costumer and it takes ages to update each time any little change is made. My computer is almost new and I’m using AE CC version 13.6.0. Any solution?

Hi, similar to some of the other comments I’m having difficulty getting this file to open; It just sits on ‘Open Project’ forever. After reading the replies to the other comments I updated AE to the latest version but I’m still having the same issue.

My workstation spec should be fine (detailed below). Any ideas you have to get this working would be great.

Hi, I’ve purchased your template. I am using After effects CC 2015 on HP Envy running Windows 8.1, Intel Core 2.20GHz, 8GB ram. Is this not enough for after effects and your template? It’s really slow and takes forever to load and even watch the preview and stories.… everything takes a very long time to action, lots of black screen and freezing and pixelation going on. Are you able to assist?

Hey I opened pixityland successfully but as soon as I click to open the adult character control panel After Effects crashes with no error. It just says it will send me a solution in the future but doesn’t.

What could be causing this??

I have no problem opening other files. I also tried opening the separate template one by one and control panel still crashes the program.

I just downloaded the file and can’t even unzip it. I’m on a brand new macbook pro, 16GB ram, all the latest CC software, and it gives me a “unable to expand into downloads, Error 2 – no such file or directory” ummmm…ya! I was really excited to use this?! Should I get a refund?

For the Christmas update, is the project file for the Christmas scene as seen on the preview available? The one I can find in the download are only the Christmas elements, not the scene. I’d like to base my project on it.

Hi, I bought Pixity Land but After Effects CC2015 tells me: “This project contains errors of expression” and I see every background red. The error seems to be in the effect “Color Control”.

Do you know how to solve it?
