as I said before: great project but the render time is a killer… any way, my main problem is that for the second time the project has crushed after 7 hours of rendering and it happened when rendering some 3D content… i have chosen .mov as a output format and used pictures and music only. PC specs: 16gb ram 3.6 processor with latest 3d graphic
Any idea..? I would appreciate any form of help… simply I am a bit annoyed as my PC is working 24/7 lately and still cannot complete the render… I have run out of ideas… Thank you
Hi I am sorry to hear that you have problems with rendering this project. What I highly suggest you to do is not rendering to a mov, but to a image-sequence (jpeg for example). With this method you essentially save every frame as unique file and even if the render crashes after several hours you still have all the already rendered framers available. You also can pause and resume the render as you want. Then when you have finished the render completely, you can import all those jpegs (or whatever file format you chose) into after effects and add your audio, and then render it to a mov. This then takes only a couple of minutes. I’m happy to help you if you need more assistance with this. You can always contact me through my profile page
Pure quality…
Thank you for your purchase, I’m glad you like it
Tolle Idee und Umsetzung. Wirklich genial.
breathtaking beauty
AWESOME work, sir! One question….I have purchased a couple 3D extrusions for After Effects, and they take a LONG time to render (and I have 8Gb of ram), so how long does this one take?
Thanks, Peter
Good question! On my i7 3820 workstation with 32gb ram it took 6 hours for the whole 2.5 minutes animation. I’ve already optimized the project for optimal render performance so it’s the best I can do while maintaining this look. For faster editing I have implemented a Draft switch which turns off all the fancy stuff and lets you see your changes quickly. So only the final render you need to wait very long, no big hassles in making changes. If you turn the render on when you leave work and come back at the next morning, it should be done. It’s best when you render to an image sequence then you can stop and resume the render if you need to.
Oh my. Yeah that makes sense. It’s SUCH a great look – I can see so much is going on within the scene.
VERY nice work on the texturing. You have a gift, my friend.
If you need assistance I can offer you rendering only for $15
Oh and of course thank you for your nice words ! I’m glad you like mine (got that?)
So, how would that work? I would just insert my own words an graphics, then send the files to you? Then you would send me a rendered quicktime?
yes that’s how it would work
Oh good. That’s good to know you do that.
Thanks and big sales to you, sir!
Thanks
