Be sure to download the latest version in your account. Exporting in Instagram format is not difficult and will be included in next update. It’s on the “To Do List” ! And will certainly appear in next update. Meanwhile working and exporting a square instagram format is not very difficult to achieve, I could help you in private and explain how to do this.

Hello and thank you for your purchase ! Normally on a standard CPU (i5 or i7) a 5 sec animation takes 3 to 5 minutes to export in 1080P. The most important is to export in 1080p if you don’t need 4k, this advice works with any kind of AE project. I mostly export in Adobe Media Encoder in H264 1080p (video tutorial included). If you know how to create layers and use the brush and/or lasso tool in Photoshop Elements 12 then there will be no problem to paint black & white Depth Maps for VoluMax like in the tutorials. But the Photoshop Easy Paint Tool included in the package was designed for Photoshop CC and won’t work here. Keep in mind that this tools doesn’t make things better, just faster. It’s a bonus tool.

Any alternative to Photoshop like Gimp, Affinity Photo, Luminar, PaintShop Pro, Pixelmator … should be able to paint Depth Maps because this is basic painting.

VoluMax will bring your pictures to life by simulating real 3D optical deformations you can only achieve with a combination of advanced projection technics.

The result will be much more professional and immersive than standard photo animation technics using only separated flat layers in a 3D space.

Absolutely ! VoluMax V1 was released in november 2015 and was very basic compared to the actual V4.3 Pro version.

The 3D Portrait Tool, Photoshop Easy Paint Tool, Depth Map Parallax, 4K resolution, 3D Depth of Field, 3D Fog and much more didn’t exist at that time. I think the price is very reasonable actually compared to the market.
