Hi iysser here. am asking if its possible that can be picture animated with this plugin right? just to be sure
Hello Iysser and thank you for your interest!
Yes you are right, VoluMax is a template for Adobe After Effects that was created to animate a picture and transform it in a 3D animation. There are many tools included depending if you are working on a Landscape, Portrait or other kind of pictures…
If you have any other question please feel free to ask. Gaëtan.
Greetings. I have an imac i5, model of 2015, with 4Gb of Ram, will it work on my desktop? Want to know before doing the payment.
Yes of course it will work ! Mac or PC is okay. The more recent is the processor the faster it will go, that’s true for any After Effects project. All the best, Gaëtan.
I a great tool, thank you for making it! I use it a lot with video footage too. I know there is no HD template, ut do you have any trick how can I work with HD?
Hello and thank you for your purchase and nice words ! The template was designed to animate pictures, not videos but it’s possible of course and gives nice results ! Volumax is in 4k but that does’t impact viewport or export speed, everything is optimized to go fast and After effects is very smart with HD pictures nowadays. Working on videos instead of pictures will surely slowdown after effects because it has to recalculate all the effects at each frame. I am sorry but I have no 1080p video version… This might be a good idea for a future update !
Wowwwww VoluMax looks IN$ANE!! I’m not very experienced in After Effects, is the learning curve very difficult?
Thank you ! Depending your level in After effects the learning curve is quite fast. Step by step easy video tutorials are included with case studies and tips
Hello Cream-Motion,
the results look great. I am very interested in VoluMax:
I was wondering about the following
- Is it possible to load custom geometry like cars, objects etc. and if yes what specs do they need (obj, number of polies) ?
- The object that is in the photograph needs to be masked from its background isn’t it?
Thanks, Gerrit
Hello and thank you for your interest !
No sorry there are no custom 3d object possible or obj import, you would need plugins like elements 3d to do that or a 3d software.
You can detach your object from background or keep it included in background, both ways work and can give good results depending your picture. Included video tutorials will show you all these technics.
wow ! amazing
Thank you !
Very cool 3d effects, awesome job! p.s. Music also very impressive, great beats!
Thank you!
Is there a demo available? I have a client who is looking for advanced photo animation like this, but we need to make a presentation for them to show what we can do. Also, if I buy this, is it only available per-project? Once I use it on one project or end-product, does the license expire?
Hello and thank you for your interest ! No I am sorry there is no demo of VoluMax. Maybe your best option would be to show the official trailer of VoluMax to your customer so he could see the animation possibilities ? Thats what I do for my customers. Here is the trailer in high quality : https://youtu.be/RaRix9OrXDA
About the licensing, you can use VoluMax for unlimited projects like a tool or a software and the license is attached to one user, you cannot share the template to someone else. There is no expiration date and future updates are free. You have two possible licenses depending the the final product you want to use VoluMax for (check options near the price). All the best, Gaëtan.
Hi, Could you tell me the difference between your volumax 3D photo animator and the photo motion pro 3d photo animator available on videohive too ?
Could you explain to me the Workflow? Is it possible to use your product on different computer ? (for example, at work and at home)
Thanks you for your amazing work !
Hi and thank you for your interest !
About the difference with other templates, here is a similar customer question I answered that might interest you
:
It is difficult to explain the workflow here because you have many possibilities depending your picture. The package includes simple video tutorials explaining the process and case studies.
You can see the first included introduction tutorial on Youtube : https://youtu.be/N99GpFlZP0s and even a speed workflow for the 3D Portrait Tool here : https://youtu.be/qhDCPlAFoAY
Your VoluMax license is attached to you and only you, it doesn’t matter on wich computer you work and where you work. You just cannot give it or share it to someone else.
Thanks you for that answer, i’ll think about it, I dunno yet if i’m gonna buy a photo animator but I like to compare . Whatever, congrats for your works, with you guys, we can have such nice animations to earn time in our projects!
Thank you ! All the best, Gaëtan.
I’m debating between getting this or Photo Motion. It seems they both can do the same thing. Are there any features in VoluMax that I can’t find in Photo Motion?
Which one is faster to use?
I read somewhere that you said VoluMax was much simpler and easier to use than Photo Motion, how so? and does this simplicity and ease of use mean fewer features?
Hello and thank you for your interest. I am not a user of Photo Motion and will not start comparing here. I created a tool the most user friendly possible with a simple goal : having the best 3d impression on the market for AE with unique features like the 3d portrait tool that gives you the possibility to animate a human face in minutes. I posted this video on YouTube so you can see how easy it is to use: https://youtu.be/qhDCPlAFoAY
I use VoluMax for my professional work and a lot of studios around the world created amazing stuff like TV and videogame trailers, historical videos from old pictures or things I didn’t even imagine possible like using VoluMax on videos with incredible results.
VoluMax is easy to use but not magic and needs to be learned to make it work nicely because there are a lot of features included. That’s why I created simple video tutorials showing step by step how to proceed. So far customers seem happy and VoluMax is actually the best seller photo animator on the market. I hope you will give it a try !
If you have any other questions feel free to ask by mail or chat 7/7. Gaëtan.
VoluMax is actually the best selling photo animator on videohive and you can also check customer reviews, it’s always interesting to read from users
In Volumax, can we animate objects in images using the puppet tool?
Yes of course, there is even a video tutorial on that subject included. The turtle in the trailer was animated that way (check at 1”28)
Actually, never mind. It seems you can use the puppet tool.
Edit: I didn’t refresh the page so I didn’t see your answer above. Thanks for answering so quickly!
I’m still confused over which photo animation tool I should get. But I’m leaning more towards yours because it seems much less complex and I don’t want to have to use masks(Volumax doesn’t use masks right?)
I know you’re not a user of Photo Motion but you’ve probably seen their product video on their product page or some of their gifs. Everything you’ve seen, can it be done using Volumax as well?
VoluMax doesn’t use any mask in AE, everything is based on the black and white depth map picture. It can be created super fast by using the Easy Paint Tool in Photoshop or the 3D portrait tool in AE.
Then you can import objects above your 3D animation like characters, cars, paragliders…. Those objects have to be pictures with transparent background. You can for example extract a character from a landscape with the lasso tool in Photoshop and use it like an object in VoluMax. There is no magic tool on this Earth that can extract a character and animate it without using masks or lasso tool.
I believe VoluMax can be used on any kind of pictures and most of all on organic and detailed ones like landscape with trees, curves, rocks and even wrecked planes !
The trailer shows that pretty well.
Just bought it. Will go through all the tutorials and start using it today.
I’m excited!
Thank you so much ! Have fun using VoluMax.
