Hi, this is really great and all, but the HST script just does not load. I have to re-install the HST script 2017 every single time I re-open after effects. This is a real bummer and is very frustrating. Is there any fix for this?

I got some problems.
I have a 1920×1080 Sequence in premiere pro. Whenever I use dynamic link and use transistions, the premiere pro sequence changes to 480×270… Why?
In after effects everything indicates that this is still 1920×1080 composistion… but in premiere pro its 480×270 and if I scale up, I lose LOTS of quality… How do I fix this?

Unfortunately, I can not help because this problem is not related to the work of transitions or extension in After Effects, but has to do with Premiere Pro. Perhaps you should write about the problem with Dinamic Link on the Adobe forum https://forums.adobe.com/community/premiere or find a solution in the web search.
I have no experience with Premiere Pro, but perhaps this is due to the resolution of the preview in After Effects. If you have “Quarter” installed, try setting it to “Full”. Also, as a workaround, I can suggest this option: make a render of the transition from After Effects, and then import the finished footage into your project in Premiere Pro

This is a great program when it works. It seems every couple of times I open After Effects to use this, the transitions aren’t there and it’s a pain in the patooty. Somethings still not quite right about it but I applaud it when it does work.

As far as I know, when using the Dynamic Link (in link Premiere Pro and After Effects) will not work the Sound FX of the transition. But you can do the following items:
- Open the Transition-layer in AE, and copy [Ctrl + C] the Sound FX layer
- In Premiere Pro, press Ctrl + V – the audio track is imported to the timeline
Receiving a lens blur error… AE 2017
Hello! Perhaps this is due to the latest update of CC.2017.
Lens Blur effect is used only in two transitions, namely:
- 14. OVERLAY > Fade > Fade – Light – Lens Blur
- 14. OVERLAY > Fade > Fade – Dark – Lens Blur
I will fix this in the next update. At the moment, you can just ignore the error that appears about the missing effect.

Hi! I keep getting the error message “Selected layer is not transition” after I have applied one or two transitions and want to add more. I have the correct layer selected but I still get this. No idea how to get past it. Please advice.

Hi. Used to work perfectly fine, but after the CC 2017, can’t find the folders to install the HST CC2017 version. Cant find the Library>Application Support> Adobe> CEP > Extensions folder…. Can you help me?
