Hi Vystina, I’m replying to your comments to my review of your product. I reviewed that while there’s a huge variety, it would be better if there were more controls/customisation. I can see that there are the basic controls but it isn’t enough. Case in point: #55 Day By Day where the red block can’t be resized. This means I’m limited to a short single word to replace ‘By’. The triangles can’t be moved, this means I have to properly word my sentence to fit the space within the triangles. There are other examples like this where I have to choose the titles based on my sentence and I wish it was the other way around eg. long sentence, I can’t use #55. Let’s look at #204, Line 1 width can be extended past the frame but strange that Line 3 cannot. This makes for an unbalanced design if I had a slightly longer sentence or if I simply wanted to extend line 3 longer. And Line 2 can’t be extended at all? The height of all Line 1, 2, 3 can’t be made taller neither. Whereas most titles have settings for lines, strangely #337 doesn’t. The only adjustment is Line Color. Again, I gotta take note what sentence can fit here. Some consistency issues. These are only 3 examples. So you see, these are all basic control settings. As you said, customers don’t want the titles to be complicated but these are still considered basic tweaks. And it would make my job easier if I could just craft a headline and not worry which titles can/can’t fit my headline. You’re doing some great work, Vystina. Hopefully you will take my comments into consideration
Thanks so much for following up with the feedback, this kind of detailed experience is exactly what we need in order to better tailor the titles for users. We’ve gone ahead and updated all of the titles you’ve mentioned as we completely agree with your comments. For 204 we have enabled the line widths on all of the titles but cannot create published parameters for the heights because of the anchor points that are used for scaling. But should be able to get around this using the horizontal scale controller and changing the size of the text. Thanks again for the specific feedback it really is much appreciated and if you are having trouble again with other titles or are looking for a specific parameter to change please give us a shout and we will update it asap. Yeah it worked but in and out animations always same I am making multifandom videos and it is very problem for me.

I just want to ask you if it’s possible in the update to increase and decrease the size of the thumbnails in the Titles menu. On 27 inch monitors the thumbnails stay small.

Hi Justin – I have this pack installed on my desktop and laptop. They work fine on each machine. However, when I create a video using the titles on my Macbook and then transfer the project to continue working on it on my MacPro, the title show up as missing files. Is there a way to reconnect them? How can I fix this problem?

Hey David, thanks for the message, are your versions of FCPX the same on both machines and do you have the titles copied into the FCP location? The show package contents location.
I solved this problem a couple months ago when copying the title files from the Motion library to the FCP folder and it worked. I am now on a new project and have the same issue but copying the files from the Motion folder to the FCP folder (in the exact same locations I did last time) and some of the titles are reconnecting but many are not. Any new thoughts on this? I jump back in forth from my desk top to my laptop with projects so I’d really like a solution to making sure the titles reconnect each time. Thanks!
What would some of the titles work and other don’t?

I bought this title package yesterday but was unable to successfully install it on my macbook pro. Very frustrating. But im pretty sure its my stupidity thats the problem, not this software or the process it takes to install. I do not have Motion installed on my laptop. To be honest i dont know what ” Motion ” is to begin with. I had to install using the second method which requires copying and pasting of things which is somewhat unclear because i couldnt succesfully follow the installation path the directions sent me on. created many folders as needed, did youtube searches to figure out how to create a” Movie ” folder and then create more and more folders in order to copy and paste the plug ins. Had to right click ” get info ” to add ” .localized ” at the end of each folder name and so on and so forth. I have went on many adventures in the last 24 hours or so to figure it out but to no success lol im pretty sure its me thats the problem still. Any help or insight? Please help
Hey there, thanks for following up with the problem, if you don’t have apple motion installed then FCP won’t look for the templates from the Motion location inside of the movies folder. You will need to go the other location by right clicking on the FCP app in applications and clicking show package contents, from there follow the path in the text document or the video. Justin was very patient in helping me figure out how to install this software because i didnt have motion installed on my MacBook pro. Hi! One of the logo reveals (number 213) is not working right, the drop zone doesn’t seem to work, what can I do? Really want to use it!!!
Hey there, thanks so much for the message. Logo reveal 213 uses the logo as a mask based on its alpha layer, transparency to cut away from the rectangle behind it. Your logo will need to have an alpha channel in order for the rectangle to reveal. Is it possible to adjust the padding of these titles in FCPX? I find from the demo that there’s not enough space/padding around the titles for my taste.
Is that the padding of the text? There is an overall scale control that adjusts scale if you want the overall text to be larger or smaller.
no, I’m talking about the padding between the text and the border of the enclosing rectangle. In web development that’s called padding. I do a lot of graphics development for the web – my one suggestion about your titles is that there isn’t enough padding (white space) between the text and the shape that it’s in – at least for my taste. If I can tweak these setting in FCP that would be great. If not, I would have to go into the motion file and do it and that would be a lot of work for all of the titles.
