project is created entirely in after effects, so it’s possible. To adjust sea parameters you will need psunami plugin (if you edit project v3 explained in description).
I must say that editing source is not that easy, check this screenshot from the project (v3). So you need to expand final composition, to edit keyframes on psunami layer (sea), and to match all keyframes from optical flares to fit with animated sea.
Your solution with precompose sounds better, easier and faster, and I’d go with it anyway
Actually you can:
- expand final composition to 4minutes
- precompose sea and optical flares together, and duplicate that new composition 7 times to have the same thing 8 times (30sec x8 = 4minutes)
- arrange duplicated compositions (layers) to fit to final composition with longer duration
Since precomps will not loop perfectly, maybe better to fade them. I mean fade in 2nd part on 1st part for about 1 second, or maybe little less. Hope you know what I mean. Or you can try to precompose everything as you said.
Anyway for second option you don’t need any plugin.
