This an awesome tool kit, is it possible to add another kit with vehicles I am interested in heavy equipment

Very nice work! thanks! How can I put the hair of the 15 (swimmer) on the head of the 2 business man?

Hello! Send me a message via my profile, so I can send to your email the project with this! Thank you!

Deadfrog! Great work. I can’t for the life of me figure out how to add a second character using Character B Setup. I drag an action into the scene “Idea” and this works for Character A Setup. But now I want to drag another action, like “Thinking” and use this for Character B Setup, but I can’t figure out how to do it. I tried ALT+Draging The Character B Setup Comp onto “Thinking” but it only replaces the character and doesn’t retain the animation. Can you help? tl:dr I need to add different characters with different animations on one comp. Thanks!

Hi! Yes, the B is just for the two-man. The best way to use two different character in one comp is renderizing with alpha and import it. That is to otimize the project. BUT if you really want 2 characters in a project create a new project and import my original aep twice (it can take a while to import, and to save too). So you will have two different hierarchy, and will be able to have two different characters with two actions. But , really, the best way is render it in a Quicktime PNG with alpha chaneel and import. Will be fast to render, fast to previsualize, and you always can make a new render it you need to adjust something. PS. Sorry!!! I has sleeping. 7am in Brazil now :D.

Thanks for your reply buddy! Actually I did a bit of playing with it and it turns out you have to highlight the layer and THEN ALT+DRAG and DROP for it to change. So I just duplicate a new layer of Character A Setup, modify it and then drag it onto the action and it works! Whew! I’m finishing up a project with it now. Great job btw. People love it!

Let me know if you have any issue!! You can send me a message via user profile, so I can reply you directly. Thank you!

Hi! this is great! can you tell me if even the “skin” color of the characters are customisable?

Hi, thank you! Yes, I made a default color for skin that you can change. The same for eyes and mouth.

Having trouble running the Pictogram Character kit, makes my work station lag and software itself won’t run correctly. Need help.

Hello! What is your After Effects version? Send me a message via my profile page, so I can talk to you directly. Some version of AE CS 6 have a similar problem, makes the AE very slow. But I have a compatibility project for solve that. In the AE CS 5 and 5.5 you shouldn’t have this problem. In AE CC should works perfectly.

Hello, when i open the AE file, i have lot of error of expressions. It doesn’t works on my CS6 & CC. They are no caracter in “1.Loop Selector”.

Hello! That is your After Effects Language? I have some issues in the cs6 version, but cc shouldn’t have any problem, but the expression are not universal. Send me a message via my user profile if you still having problems, please. So I can contact you directly.

thanks you, in English it’s ok ! The errors came from the French language

Okay! This project was a little hard to make an universal version. Let me know if you have any other problem.

Hi, Opened your file and all the characters are there which is great. However I cant see any of the 130 extra elements that are includes like the football, phone, guitar and all the other accessories it says it includes. Can you confirm where these all are within your file?

Hello! You can access the acessories in the “Character Setup” composition. In the second layer effects you can choose with acessorie do you want in the “Left OBJ Selector” or “Right OBJ Selector”. The objects are parented to the character hand. But if you want to use this objects in other situations, you can use the seach tool in the project browser to finde a composition called “Objects Main”. All the objects are there. If you need some help to do that, please, send me a message throgh my profile page, so I will have your email, and send some attachaments to show you how it works. Thank you very much!

Hello! This is awesome it’s saved me lot of time! but I have a question: how can I create a new character for custom animation? When I duplicate the comp D.Character C Base i can manage to move it around on its own but the colors and objects stay the same unless I change them on the original composition. Thanks in advance.

Hi! Thank you for your feedback! In this case, the best way is duplicate all the hierarchy. To do that you may have to create a new blank project and import the pictogram project as many times as you need to this new project. If you have any question, please, send me a message via my profile, so I can send you an email. Or tell me how many custom characters that you need and I send the project to you. Best, 2DF.
