Select the video, then navigate to File -> Interpret Footage -> Main…Main Options -> Alpha.

in after effect or where confused. you mean the output exported vidoe or what am using mac

i check interepert footage is blur not able to click on it. i click on the lowerthird compostion

If the above are not active, that means something went wrong on export. When you make your output, please make sure you chose a format which support alpha channel (image sequence – TGA or PNG / Quicktime movie with TGA / PNG / Animation compression, etc.)

i am able to choose RGB+Alpha but video format i dont get PNG I GET ANIMATION BUT AFTERWARDS IT GIVES BLACK BACKGROUND

I ALSO CHOOSE ACTIVE CAMERA ICON WHICH GIVE TRANSPARENT BACKGROUND BUT WHEN EXPORT IT GIVE BLACK

Lens blur

Ok. Thanks for letting me know. I suppose you are using a newer version of After Effects, and as far as I know, Lens Blur was replaced with Camera Lens blur in the newer versions. In this project, the Lens Blur effect has been used in only one composition (in “01. Virtual Studio”) and is applied on “Adjustment layer”. You can turn this layer off without losing anything, or you could add Camera Lens Blur, which operates essentially the same way. Please let me know how it work. Thanks.

i have edited of the lower thirds for my project. am using After effects cc and am not able to select RGB AND Alpha channel together.Also render just only lower thirds is taking 709 hours how can make this render fast

Under the Output Module, you’ll have to chose RGB+Alpha on Channels, in order to render your output with alpha channel. Regarding the second problem, you most probably didn’t set the duration of the render, and your are trying to render the whole composition. The duration can be set in Render Settings dialog.

yeah like i said i dont get that option to select RGB+Alpaha.

I didnt select the whole compostion, I did select the first lowerthird and edit it. after that i click on composition to add to render que and it give me that long duration.Am using after effect CC 2018.Likewise am using icore 7 prcoess with 8GB mEMORY AND 1TB hard disk so please hlep

Yes, but you’d still have to set the duration when you add the composition to render queue, otherwise it will render the entire length of the composition. Kindly please check the video tutorial – “8.Make your output.mp4”. You can see there what you’d have to do to make your output. Please let me know how it works. Thanks.

After watching the video , i check the duration which for the lowerthird i edit and it was 0;00;02;28 however after puting as demonstrated in the video.when i click rending this what i got as feedback After Effects Warning: loged one error-”error: Rendering error while writing to file ‘c:\users\Bodman\Desktop\HDV-HDTV 1080P.mov”.An output module failed.The file may be damaged or corrupted(-1610153464)

Did you try to make your first render as tga sequence? Also, please try to render on a different drive, and see if you’ll get the same error. And purge memory and disk cache before you start the render. To empty or purge your Disk Cache, navigate to “Edit > Purge > All Memory & Disk Cache.” Another cause could be the codec you used for your output. What codec did you use? Please let me know if any of the above solved the issue. Thanks.

I was able to render to different disk in tga sequence in about 17 minutes.Now i was trying to render in quicktime but i didnt get the option for Alpha+RGB.i got either Alpha or RGB. secondly how can keep all those effect until the text for news thicker line are done.I WANT to keep the headlines,website address and the effects until news thicker line text finished thanks

You probably didn’t check RGB+Alpha when you rendered as tga sequence. Regarding the second question, I’m not sure I understood right, but the lower third have in and out animation along with all texts and effects.

am trying use different after effects version.Also after setting up my duration the final outuput does not display the whole text line and headlines and the news thicker lines.any clue please.I wish i could have send you screenshots so that you see what am talking about
