Does anyone know why when I render my project the VU meters don’t work?
Hi! These renderings are very cool. I just wanted to signal that the cassette reels are going in the wrong direction. All tape reels always go left! Then this is perfect!

I’am not first and not last I guess, who facing the problem with reaction of VU Meter on this template. Why don’t you just post the instruction of salvation right here, on the wall? I’m sure that you can help directly, via mail. But you not always have an opportunity to reply quickly…
The main reason is the low sound level in the audio track. You can increase the sound level of the track. Just select the layer with the audio track and press ‘L’. Either the audio track should be normalized in a third-party audio editor. The second reason is that users insert an audio track into the wrong composition. This is described in the user manual.

Hi, At the beginning of the VU Meter02 composition (first 55 seconds) the vu meters are doing strange things: 1 image total left, 2 or 3 images in the red area (where it has to be) then 1 image total left (-25db) then in the red again.
After 55 seconds, the vu meters are acting normally.
My music is 3:30 and is boom boom all the time…

Hi, I just purchased the template and I’m having the same problem as slen. The video render was OK, I get sound and tape rolls but I can’t get the meter to move. I think the audio volume is strong enough, so what should I do to fix the problem?

Looking to buy this. I know AE takes long to render. What sort of time could I expect using your project for videos say 6 – 9min long? computer fairly quick. 8gb of memory, cpu i5 4670k 3.4. Thanx

well followed the instruction. The “tape” is moving but the meter are not moving at all. (And I hear the sound). Am I rendering the wrong composition ? What is wrong ?
