Hi, after opening main after effects file a message appears: 16 elements are missing after last save…..any help?

sorry. after installing quicktime and rebooting everything is working 100% fine. Thanks.

That’s great!
Happy Holidays!

particles.mov doesnt work. how can ? fix it?

Hi,
Please try to download the project again.
What error do you get when you open the project?

Downloaded again bu same problem. I replace all assets with the working ones, but particles.mov and magicparticles.mov doesnt work. In aftereffect “its damged or not supported” it says.

This is probably caused by QuickTime. Please try to download the latest QuickTime from Apple’s website HERE. Install it. Restart After Effects and try to open the project again. This should solve the problem.
Let me know how it went.

Thank you! :)

Please as I open the project from sony vegas pro 11 for customize. I do not have much idea about it and the manual is pretty basic. Thank You.

Hi,
To open the project you need Adobe After Effects. You can download a free trial HERE. If you are new to After Effects I recommend watching some video tutorials for beginners. You can find plenty on youtube HERE

Here is how you can change the logo:
After you open the project choose from the menu “File->Import->File…” Navigate to the directory where your logo file is(it’s best if your logo is with transparent background in a format like PNG, AI, PDF) Select the file. Now in the “Project” panel open the “_ADD_CONTENT_HERE” folder and double click on the “Logo_Placeholder” composition. Now drag your logo from the “Project” panel into the composition and delete the default logo.

Here is how to export the video:
Make sure the current composition is the “MAIN” comp. From the menu select “Composition->Add to Render Queue”. In the “Render Queue” panel click on the text in front of “Output Module:” usually it’s says “Lossless”. Now for “Format” choose QuickTime Movie. Also check “Audio Output” at the bottom. Click Ok. For “Output To:” in the Render Queue panel click to select where to save the video.Click render.
Hope this helps!

Ok, thank you very much. Good job.

Hi.

Nice work. I´ve just almost finished my video. I´ve just can´t change a thing, can you help me? I want to remove the 3d effect in the logo. How do i do that?

Thanks

Hi there,
In Project panel in Compositions/Logo Comps folder there is a composition Logo_3D. Open it and delete all Logo_Bevel_Unmask layers except the first one. This should do the job.
There is some bevel applied if you like to remove it open the Logo_Bevel_Unmask comp and delete the bevel effects applied on the Logo_Placeholder layer.
Cheers!

HaHa Love this project!!

Thank you! :)

Having trouble with the rendering of QuickTime file( .mov). Does not seem to make a complete playable file. I tried re-downloading file, updating Aftereffects, and updating QuickTime itself. No bueno. Any suggestions?

Do you get some kind of error when the rendering stops? You can try rendering the project in a different format (avi, mp4, flv) and convert it to MOV afterwards using Adobe Media Encoder.

This is really confusing and the instructions are not at all clear. I have been trying to figure it our for 3 hours now! What does the logo need to be imported as? and what is the correct way to do that?

It’s probably the format you’ve chosen or maybe you are rendering the wrong composition.
Try this:
  • Make sure the current opened composition is the “MAIN” comp.
  • From the menu select “Composition ? Add to Render Queue”.
  • In the “Render Queue” panel click on the text in front of “Output Module:” usually it’s “Lossless”.
  • Now for “Format” choose QuickTime Movie.
  • Also check “Audio Output” at the bottom. Click Ok.
  • For “Output To:” in the Render Queue panel click to select where to save the video.
  • Click render.
  • I did all of that yes, but I output it as AVI

When you choose “Format:QuickTime Movie” in the “Output Module Settings” it should change your output to MOV.
You can try H.264 (mp4) or FLV format as well.

    It looks awesome! :)
