Hi kelvincyl! What language is your after effects in? You need to change it to English first before opening the project. There is some information on this in the FAQ Pdf.

Hi there kelvincyl. Yes. It is very straight forward. Easy to follow. There is a tutorial and will show you what to do. A lot of buyers are also new to after effects. If you do need help, i’ll be happy to help.

How can I have less than 100 pictures, for example, 50, and still have the Mosaic finishing in the end? Thanks!
The template needs 100 photos to populate the mosaic at the end at the moment. its been created to hold that specific amount for the mosaic to work. I could look at recreating the template to hold only 50 photos for a future update.

I wonder if I will have to manual drag every single one of the 100 photos into the place holder? It seems to be very time consuming. Is there any quick way to do that?

Hi there! thank you for your purchase. Unfortunately that is the only way to add in all your photos and to scale,move around and to fit the photos to your liking. If I could think of a solution to do this, to make it a lot quicker, I would definitely introduce this. Hopefully there would be soon.
Pre-purchase question. I’d like to use this template, but shorten the duration considerably to maybe 20-30 seconds. Is that possible?
Hi there! You won’t be able to speed up the animation to fit into 20-30secs, but you could delete several frames/scenes and still have the end mosaic if that is what you want?. I will have to direct you a bit on what to do, but if your confident in After effects, then this shouldn’t be a problem. You will still have to fill in all 100 photos for the mosaic to populate though. There is a 20sec Mosaic feature in the template option. its an additional option, which is just the photos flying in. You can see this in the preview video towards the end.
Just downloaded the template, but the tutorial file has no audio. Tried redownloading the files, but still no audio on the tutorial…any idea what’s going on?

Fantastic plugin, thank you! There seems to be a bug though, Image – 18 cannot seem to accept an image. I tried using the image that shows up just fine on Image 17 and Image 19, onto Image – 18, and that still doesn’t work, so it’s not an issue with the image.
I opened a new project based on the template and tried again, and the image for Image 18 still doesn’t show up.

Hi there. Just had a quick look through. I think that image is actually image – 96. Could check if you have an image inside that comp?
Ah, that was it, the image was there, it was just corrupted. I was thrown of by image 96 being in between image 17 and 19. Thanks!
If this isn’t too complicated an answer for you, how could I have found out that it was image 96, and not 18 that was in that frame between 17 and 19?
Awesome! I must change that actually, make sense to have it as 18. In the checkbox control window, there are 3 orange boxes. One box for Turning on the Photo numbers in the Effect panel.
Figured out to use checkboxes, very handy. First day using After Effects – thanks for making it learnable!

Hi Ateker, Unfortunately the project cannot be modified to add more photos. The template is only set up to use 100.

I get literally hundreds of error messages saying “method Checkbox in class Effect is missing” (AE CC 2014, Mac OS 10.10) – therefore the CheckBoxControl becomes unusable. Any fix for me?
Hi Gouvi. What language is your After Effects? You will need to change your language to English first and reopen the project.

Why does it take so long to render? It takes 2 1/2 to 3 hours. I only have 36 pictures. I have not even added the sound file.
Render time varies for different machines, depending on what computer spec. That time is about right. It does have have to process through the photos, especially at the end mosaic, where there is a lot happening. Another factor is the light creating the shadows for the photos. This is a big render time. You can turn of the shadows, which I show in the tutorial to speed up the render which is optional.
