Hi steveca! You could add some text on top of your individual photos. Is that what you mean? It’s not setup up to add text but I can show you what to do 
I just purchased “Mosaic Photo Reveal” I have no executable files. I have help file, tutorials, *.ia, *.aep, background images. Where is the software?
Hi dgardin! You will need a software called ‘after effects’ from adobe installed on your computer first before opening the main file. All the templates here on videohive require After Effects.
What is the name of the template? I see a file out here call “Mosaic Photo Reveal.aep” Is this the template?
I was under the impression that I could take the template, ad my photo and music and be done with a default presentation. I did’nt know I needed to design it from scratch.
Hi there. The template is Mosaic photo reveal.aep. That is correct, you just need to add your photos, music and render. The template is already designed with the default presentation, so you don’t need to design anything. You just need the software after effects to open the template to start adding your photos in.
Ok, I’m using the After Effects to edit the template, but I will not allow me to render as an MP4. In you instruction I shows MP4 and other menus I don’t see. I’m using Version 13.1.1.3

Pre-purchase question – can it be used with Videos instead of photos and then at the end show stills of the videos to make the mosaic ?

With the final image (ie wedding etc) is it possible to construct/create a new image ie a map? Or are we limited by the final images in the package?
Hi there! You can use any image you like for the final image. So yes you could use a map as your image.

One more question, the duration of the project can be changed ?
In the template. I do provide an extended 3 min version, along with the standard one. Those are the 2 standard durations. Besides that, you can’t manually change the duration. If you are comfortable with after effects, then you could modify the template a bit to suit your needs.

Hello, I purchased your mosiac slideshow, and i’m trying to find the Checkbox Effects. Can you please give me directions on how to access these effects?
Hi there! In the the project panel on the left, you should see the _checkbox Control folder. Go inside that composition by double clicking it. You should see 3 orange boxes, the first being Check Box Effects. If you click once on that box, the effects will show in the panel on the left. If you don’t see that Effect Panel box, Go to Window in the Menu at the top and click on Effect Controls. This will show that panel. Maybe it was just hidden. Hope this helps

Hi there. No, you can use any type of pictures, the template crops it to a Square. The resolution is set for 1920×1080px. However you can use smaller photos and scale up, but please note you will lose a little bit of sharpness in quality doing so. Cheers

I’m having so much trouble rendering the final project. First time I did it, it took more than 36 hours and the exported file opened as it should on my computer but only as an audio on all the other computers. I want my video to be burnt on a DVD, so can you help me with what setting to choose. And is it normal for it to take that long to render?

You can place an empty “ae_force_english.txt” file in your “My Documents” folder.

Hi! I had purchased one time license for this template. After rendering my working files into final video, the final video is very lagging when I play it. The music and the images are not able to play smoothly. Any solution? My final output file size is 16GB. I wonder is it the huge file size that making the whole final video very lagging. Please advise!
Hi there. Yes 16gb file is a very large file. And playback will be very laggy. Depending on your render settings it should be around 400mb – 2gb. I think your render settings are set to uncompressed? Are you able to tell me what settings you have on for your render? Try the h264 settings that I’ve provided in the PDF. Regards

Hi there. Yes you can. However I’m not sure what the file size limit is to upload to Facebook though. When you render the video it might come out quite large. How about a link to YouTube? Please note You will need after effects installed on your computer to run the template. Regards.

Hi ikhlief. Yes you can use any photos. You will need 100 photos and you can choose which photo you want at the end. Unfortunately there is no link online for the tutorial. There is a video tutorial when you download the files, that explains and shows you what to do step by step. Regards.
