Is there a way to change the pin-point graphic? Not sure how to add my own pin-point.
Hello! Yes, you can edit or use your own pin-point. All assets are After Effects shapes and can be edited! In this case go to folder “3 – EDIT elements” , and open “pin point 1 (edit text for map scene4)” or any other pin-point. Click the After Effects “Shy” button and you will see the pinpoint layers! Edit the shape with the AE shape tool, or import any other asset you like from photoshop or illustrator. To open and edit the project you need sotware named: “Adobe After Effects” version CS4 upto newer CC.
You can also use the trial version (works freely for a month) http://www.adobe.com/downloads.html
The project comes with an analytical video tutorial that should help you create your video.

I didn’t even know Adobe After Effect existed a few days ago. But I still bought this product and I tried my hand on both product and software. I was pleased to see that it wasn’t so bad for in 2 days, I got the job done. So even if you’re a beginner (with a minimum of software awareness in general, we need to be realistic here), you’ll get there quite quickly.
Then I discovered the product was VERY WELL done: files well classified and named by use, ect… which made the experience very intuitive. Moreover, the product comes with an 8mn video tutorial so simple that I did what I had to do with ease.
At the end of it all, there was a few extra things I wanted to try regarding details: change a moving text for a moving logo, customize some buildings on the map… And I find myself with the greatest support EVER! The author was so helpful, with patience and good will. He answered me within 24h and not with complicated written explanations on how to process. No Sir! He made me a personalized video tutorial! Efficient, simple and so much more fun.
I highly recommend both the product AND the support post-purchase. My final rending is AWESOME and if you complement it with your own marketing speech on a musical background, it’s TV commercial quality!!

Hello! My first guess is that you probably have the time indicator exactly at the start of the composition. Move it a bit to the right to go a few seconds later and you will see the texts… Doubleclick them to edit! If I would like to edit or customize will I need to purchase the extended license or is that included in the regular license? Can you please explain the difference in the two different licenses as I’m not really sure which one I need. I’d like to use this video on my companys website and social media links.

Customization is not included in any license, It’s something you have to do by yourself or hire a freelancer to do it. Extended license is needed only if the final media produced, is sold to your clients (they pay to watch it -eg a dvd or cable networks etc). If you broadcast it for free, a regular license is ok! (sounds like your case!)

Okay I will try that I also have another question. When I downloaded the content I received a folder, in this folder was a file labeled footage which only has 2 items of the hand and 2 items of a map along with something to replace your logo. Should there be more items? It seems there were more slides shown in the video for purchase?
No problem, all assets seen in the video are there! (not found in the footage folder because they are shapes produced in After Effects and the texts are editable too). Scene 7 doesn’t work for me – it is just single colour background, no logo or text even though I can see its there. I’m using CS4. Pls help!

Could it be that I need some styles from CC? I noticed when I opened the file, it said something about cc styles missing but the message does not come back up when I checked. It doesn’t appear that anything is wrong with the file – the layers are the same for scene 7 as your tutorial video and I can even click on text layer and change it – but its not visible. I rendered and played back and all scene 7 shows is background colour and 3 ‘exposion’ effects
