Hi, I get a lot of expression errors. I cant see any colours on the letters
Can this project be used as an Alpha file?
I do get plenty of “Expression Errors” – Lines and Layers missing. What can we do about it?
Has to do with MAC->PC translation and After Effects 2017. Using CS6 it does work.
Hello! I’m using this template and I’m really loving it. I just need to make some changes, such as the properties of the drop image, also, on some of the scenes, when I delete the text, I get the same text in orange, neither of these two items I have in my timeline, it’s as if the actual composition has these items, I’d like the drop image to be bigger for example, and I can’t do that. I’m working on a very very tight deadline and at the moment I can’t move forward without this information. Thank you so much!

It seams that you’re using a French version of After effects and that is messing up the Expressions. Hi, first of all, great job the tutorials are well explained. But when i open the project in AE (CC 2015) i have a lot of errors of expression. When i want to import (cmdC / cmdV) the letters to scale them on the original font, i can’t see them. Of course, i’ve downloaded the font through the links in the text file. I’m on a project for a client right now. Can you please respond me as fast as possible ? Best regards.

I really like the logo animation. Can I change the shape of that circle or is that circle permanent and the logo just goes inside of it. (Let me know if my question didn’t make sense)
It wasn’t meant to be changed, but you can do it fairly easily. The cicle is a standard shape layer that you can replace with another shape layer. just make sure to set the track mate the same as it is for the circle layer. It can be changed in “00Logo Background” comp. Let me know if you need more assistance once you have purchased the project.

Hi, I´m working with your animated typography, but I have a problem with the downloading font of the proyect called “Contribute”, it isn´t write non capital letters. What can I do? Thanks.

Purchased this and not that impressed. It looks good but to use it is rather awkward, you don’t seem able to change the font and there are no numbers included so you can only use letters.
If you want to create a ‘write-on’ effect easily follow this method (in AE) -
Type required text
Select text layer and choose Layer—> Create Masks from Text
On the new Solid that gets created, choose Effect -> Generate -> Stroke
Make sure “All Masks” is checked (by default it’s not)
Change “Paint Style” to “Reveal Original Image”
Starting from 0, increase “Brush Size” slowly until your text looks normal again
Animate “End” from 0 to 100% to make the text draw on
Unchecking “Stroke Sequentially” will change the look so that all the letters draw on at the same time instead of one-by-one
That’s it.
It’s animated font that is sold here so yes, obviously you can’t swap font, because every letter of this particular font is hand animated. The technique you described is similar to the core thing used in this project, but telling that this technique can substitute for this whole project is like saying “weld those 3 pipes together and you will have F1 racing car”. There is waaay much more than that. I hope there will come a time when you will be able to appreciate the full scope of what this project has to offer. For the most basic write-on effect your technique is the way to go.
