Thanks Suresh
Hi Suresh,
glad you like it!
Please be a bit more patient, since the videohive team forgot to update the zip file, I submitted it again, hopefully it will be up very soon.
I always take my time to create the best possible tutorial, it will be crystal clear about how to change the colors icon wise. In a few hours.
They were fast, up now, please download it now again.
Btw, thanks a lot for your rating and kind words.
Thanks you are nice guy a happy words from a fellow developer
Awesome work! Risto this is very appealing!
Thanks a lot Eddie!
Hi,
can you explain me how to use your product in Vegas Pro 12.0 ? I want to import some items in your pack but I can’t because the backround is black and no transparent.
Thanks, Sirius.
Hi Sirius,
I am not a pro in Vegas Pro yet, but drop me a message please and we will figure out a way. Thanks.
http://videohive.net/user/risto#contactWhat if i want to render as animated svg files?
Any other file type which i can use in html5?
Hi,
animated svg – hm, I don’t think it is possible, it is a very different format. Maybe animated gifs, but it takes some skills to be able to render them out in that format. They are not really designed for html embed, sorry.
Awesome work! Thanks!
Thanks man!
I do have one concern… when attempting to render our my desired animation I get this notice preventing me from rendering….
“The directory originally specified in the selected output module no longer exists.”
Thoughts?
That means that I accidentally left a specific path attached to that render item (my mistake, sorry!). In human language
it basically tells you that it refers to a folder that does not exist on your hard drive. Please reselect the folder where you are rendering to (click on the “Output to” option) and that should make it.
Did it solve the problem? If you still need any help, please send me a message (http://videohive.net/user/risto#contact ) and I will send you the updated zip again.
Thanks for your notice.
Thanks, will try tomorrow. I’ll let you know if further assistance is necessary. Thanks!
Wow, great work! You’re extremely talented and your hard work truly shows.
Thanks for your kind words!
Can I get it to work in CS 5.0 somehow?
Hi Moffat,
sure, the project originally supported CS5 and I was planning to add it anyway. I will soon make an update.
Please tell me when You make it compatible, so I can purchase your project :] Thnx.
I have just uploaded an update with the CS5 version. I think it will be up in a few hours.
That was fast, it is up now, CS5 supported!
Awesome work. I wish you great sales!
You can also use my composition with a watermark in your projects. I would be very happy. Thanks for your work and good luck!
Hi Amidamaru, thanks! I will take a look at your portfolio.
Cheers.
Hi risto, how can I choose different colors for each icon within the same project. Whenever I change the color from your setting panel it applies the same color for all the icons. For example, let’s say I want blue for the clock and red for the key. How do I do that? Thanks!
Hi Gadj,
I designed the icons to be used as an icon pack, meaning that you are right, the color control is a global setting for all of them.
A solution for your problem could be to use the “Fill” effect on each individual icon. You will have to open the desired icon compositions and go through all the layers setting the right colors on each.
If you need help in that, contact me through the form on my profile page and tell me your colors/icons and I will do it for you (if you don’t want all of the icons with different colors…:).
Sounds good?
Thanks for the reply. I got it the way I wanted applying a second fill on top of yours. Not the most convenient but it worked.
For future buyers, it is still a good pack.
Thanks for the good words and sorry for the inconvinience.
– update –
Issue solved, from version 3 you can very easily change colors icon wise (global color is still working of course).
Can you easily change the color’s of each layer? Or what are the color choices?
Hi,
each icon consists of two colors (the background is transparent). You can of course change them to whatever colors you’d like. I included a few default color options which I think look good, but you have total control over colors and shadow.
Hi again,
I have just realized that you meant to change each icon separately, if I am right. That’s a bit tricky since I designed the pack to be used as a whole with the same colors, but if you purchased it and need help, just tell me.
Awesome work my friend!!
Thanks dude!
Beautiful work…!!
Thank you!
Risto , great job, nice design, can you say something more about video compression that you use for animations, are they animated gifs? wmv? flv? swf? mov? or just frames? do you have any idea how to implement them in a internet site like a playing on a site in a loop in iframe, Jquery, pretty photo or other html related programming methods, thanks in advance!
Hello,
let me see…
video compression: this is a single After Effects file, it does not contain any videos rendered out. It is up to you what compression algorithm you choose, it depends on where you plan to use them.
If your goal is to embed them in HTML ( = internet site) I would suggest rendering them as .gif files. But keep in mind that all the icons have a building up phase so you will have to find the exact interval of the loop phase and set the timeline to that in AE (this is different for all the icons).
As far as I know the ability to save .gif directly from AE was removed from CS5 but it is possible to do it with a few extra clicks.
1. setting the timeline
2. adjust size
3. rendering (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeZGwjVwDrc )
4. embedding in HTML
All in all, this might have sounded a bit difficult, but if you know some After Effects it is not at all complicated. Hope it helped.
cheers!
Risto, rendering out of AE wil be no problem. I hope that simple animated gif’s will probably works with all browsers and devices. Of course maybe little bit more work will be to find nice low frame rate, somewhere about 10 -15 f/s ? thanks, and again I have to say: man nice job, modern graphics and all motions done with a style.
Thanks dude!
One more thing I have just read – to make .gif files work on mobile you might need to get rid of transparency (all the icons have a transparent background by default). I can’t confirm that, but it might be true. You simply will need to add a solid layer in those icon comps which you would like to use (e.g. white solid if you embed them on a white background).
Good luck!
im close to buying this soon
are you going to do more like this? if so – when?
Great news for me.
I am planning to do more, yes, but I can’t say when.
What exactly would you need? You may contact me through the form on my profile page, I might be able to help you out.
