Hey, i inserted my text but when i want to run the script file it is processing forever without any process bar.
Hey, it should take just few seconds to insert the letters. Could you send me screenshot to info@b2hstudio.com
Thanks Sharing!
Just picked it up, but when I run the script I get an error on line 401 “Error at line 401 in file /Winston/Logo%20Stings/videohive-6460078-animated-letters-oswald-gravity-package/Script/Animated%20Letters%20v1.01.jsx After Effects Error: Invalid Filter”
I’m using AE CC. Can you help?
Try to use this script. Here the glow effect is disabled http://www.b2hstudio.com/gravity/script_without_glow.zip
Copy the script to the same folder as original one.
Thanks! What’s that music track you laid in there?
Music in the preview is something that I specially made for Animated Letters.
Not bad, you should sell that on Envato
Thank you for this free item!
you’re welcome
Same for me Oswald Missing cant run script on AE CC 2014
Try to find Oswald font from character panel. Sometimes it is installed with little bit different name. It should be Oswald-Regular like in this image http://www.b2hstudio.com/videohive/character.jpg If it is installed with some other name (e.g. Oswald-Book) then you should try to change the font name or change the line 203 in the script to match the name of the font. http://www.b2hstudio.com/videohive/script.jpg
Not working. All oswald fonts are instales but the regular is missing. The script stacks on line 18 Null is not an object
To clear After Effects memory you should restart After Effects and run the script from File – Scripts – Run Script File… Don’t use the Script Editor. Also make sure that you have “al_about.jpg” and “al_header.png” in the same folder as the script file. http://www.b2hstudio.com/videohive/scriptimg.jpg
If this doesn’t help, then it would be great if you could send me some screenshots or screen capture video to info@b2hstudio.com.
Script working now the al_header.png has a hide checkmark and after unpack its invisible
Hi, I’ve downloaded this file, installed the fonts form the link. I know that the fonts work, as I can use them in photoshop. When I load the project in After Effects CC, I get the message that The Oswald Regular font is missing. Then when I try and run the Script I get ‘Unable to run the script at line 32. Invalid image data. Any idea what’s going wrong? I’m following your instructions to the letter. Thanks
An Update, this will work in After Effects CS6, even though After Effects Still can’t find the Oswald font, I’m using Myriad Pro instead, but the script will run. I wonder why not in AFX CC?
Hi, Can you locate manually oswald font in After Effects CC character panel?
Getting error when running script. Null is not an object?
What language version of After Effects do you use?
English
Could you send me a screenshot to info@b2hstudio.com this way I can see what layers are created and where the script is stuck.
Image file sent as well as screen capture video.
WOW! It’s realy cool effect! I like it
Thanks
Question- how can i have multiple sets of text come on the screen? what im looking to do is have one set drop in, then move the camera in Z space to move that text to the back- then have 2 or more sets repeat that process and drop in. Right now, it looks like there is only one ‘text’ and ‘text reflection’ precomp- so if i edit that, it will change only the first set of text i want dropped in. Im wondering how to add more sets of text. Thanks!
Hi. The easiest way to do this is using multiple project files. First you should write and animate the first text. Next rename “1 – Type & Insert Text” composition to something else like “First Text”. This must be done, otherwise expressions won’t work later on. Next save the project file as “First Text”. Now open original project file and make the second text. Now you can import “First Text” project file. For example if you use “3_01 – Metallic Title A” composition. Open both of these compositions (the one with the first text and the one with the second text). Now you should copy layers 2, 3, 6, 7, 8. Also enable 3D for these layers and now you can move them in z space. If you need further instructions then I can also make a screen capture video.
i think i get what you are saying- just importing each version of text as a separate project and renaming the type layer in each- a video would definitely be helpful- if you get the chance to show me. THanks again
Here is a screen capture video – http://youtu.be/sGRkTrPDZ9E Let me know if there is anything else.
Just purchased this project. The Font was not included. I downloaded another Oswald font online and installed. Now I am getting the following error when applying the script to my text:
“Error at line 401 in file ~/Desktop/videohive-6460078-animated-letters-oswald-gravity-package/Script/Animated%20Letters%20v1.01.jsx
null is not an object”
PLEASE HELP! I need this to work to complete a project!

Love it!! Does it come with the impact sound FX?
Thanks
Yes the impact sound FX is included in the package.
If I wear to purchase this, would I be able to apply this script to non characters? i.e an image?
If you would like to use your own animated characters you can replace Oswald Gravity mov file with your own file. But it would have to have same dimensions, letter positions and length to work correctly.
If you wish to detect letter positions from an image then it isn’t possible with this script.
Excellent idea my friend!!!! Very good work!!! I love this style!!!
Good job!
Absolutely amazing! Wish you a lot of sales mate
Just wow
