No, you do not need to re-purchase the template to get the update. Just re-download the template once the update is out.

You are correct, concerning the drawing hand. What you saw was the teaser for the “pharmacy package”, which comes with a drawing hand. But there will be a drawing hand in the upcoming update.

You’ll need CS5 or above. You don’ t need any experience in coding but it would be useful to have some knowledge with any video software. You can use this template for one client only – license wise. How long it will take to make a short story depends on the complexity of your storyboard:)

Are you refering to the template or to the illustration packs at our website? If you are refering to the template then you are allowed to use the ilustration within a video presentation but you are not allowed to use them on web pages or something. Hello there, the template comes with a resolution of 1920×1080 (HD). When you render your final video it is up to which video format you want to use, but this has nothing to do with the template itself.

You asked: Are the completed videos compatible with handheld devices – that is, do they automatically scale and do they run on devices that don’t use flash? Do they work on all browsers? Snow: Again, this has nothing to do with the template. Again it depends on which video format you will render and where you embed it. That is a technical issue.

You asked: Can I also add my own sketches to the portfolio you have offered and are there instructions to do such? Snow: Yes you can import your own sketches into the template. How to import your own illuustration is not part of the tutorials that comes with the template, but we made an extra one which you can find here: http://www.snowcake.biz/?p=766 (Scroll down to -> How to import the illustrations into an After Effects Template!) In this template we demonstrate how to import our own illustrations into the template but the method for all kind of illustration is pretty much the same.
