Good job!
Hello, great project! Please help me: How can I render this video to a smaller file size? Thanks!
Hi!
Try to use MP4 format with H.264 compression.
Hi there! As everyone has already said, this is a very nice logo reveal. Now a question: 4 months ago you said that there are hidden layers, and that makes sense because I can’t find the layer “Logo” inside “Main”. Can you help me find it? I’d like to try to replace the logo with a video and I can’t seem to find where it should go. The “Show all video” didn’t work for me, I can see only two layers.
Thanks!
Edit
After a few seconds I’ve found where the magic happens, but it doesn’t look like this project is made for a logo which is changing, not static. Am I wrong? I’ll try a different approach which should be simpler.
This project will work perfectly with logos and text, but if you have a footage that you like to use, try this trick:
When you drop your video to the timeline into the Logo composition, right click on it and go to Time/ Time-Reverse Layer.
Tell me if this helps.
I think there is a problem with the file: it is TOTALLY grainy. It doesn’t look as neat as it should. Am I wrong?
There’s no problem with the file. You can lower that grain by disabling “Grain” layer in the Scene composition.
Good Intro!
Thank you!
Nice intro!
Thanks!
looks pretty nice. it was my first time to try out making videos with after effect. i could figure out easily how to do it though. a questions: when you add music into the project, adding a MP3 file, where do you put in the AE project? and how to make the file matching the time, let s say my MP3 is 2min long but that AE project is 12 secondes long… thanks
Hi!
When you import your MP3 file into AE, just drag and drop it from the project window to the timeline in the Main composition. After that press twice “L” on your keyboard, you’ll see an audio waveform. Now just move that layer left and right until you find the right position. Hit the ”,” on your numpad to hear the audio or press “0” to do a RAM preview.
ok, thanks for the info. also is it possible to adjust the background to a lighter color like white?
Unlock the “Scene” layer, double click on it, you’ll see that on the “BG” layer is applied Ramp effect. Just change the “Start of Ramp” color to a lighter grey or white and after that you can control the background color in the “Main” comp as usual.
thanks a lot for your explanation. it worked perfectly.
Ty very nice job!!
I want to ask , in scene and main composition the effect Pixel Polly has reversed direction than the logoanimation composition. How you do that because i do not see any applied effect in logoanimation composition
Ty
Time-Reverse Layer
Ty very much!!
And btw, as I remember, there are some hidden layers.
Yes i found them i was almost to email you !!!! Ty
Really good project
Thank you!
Awesome project and easy to customize! Great Job.
Thanks!
Is there any way to take off the emboss effect on the logo? I tried looking for it but could not find it under the material settings..
Sure. Open the “LogoFullSize” composition from the Animation folder and on the 3rd layer just disable Bevel Alpha in the Effect Controls window.
That worked! thank you
Great work, thanks
For some reason when I’m opening the file in CS6, its giving me an error that states “After Effects error: file ‘OF.mov cannot be imported – this ’.mov’ file is damaged or unsupported.”
I really apreciate the free video though, I will probably be buying some of your products very soon. Do you offer support?
Hi!
Since I’ve tested this project with CS6 trail and it worked perfectly, I suppose there is a problem with your QuickTime player.
Do you have installed QT player? And if you do, try updating player with a newest version and set your player to be default for playing .mov files. Tell me if this helps.
You fixed it! Thanks!
Brilliant work!
Thanks!

Kind regards, X-Releaes
Hi, X-Releases!
I’m glad you like this file. All the best!
Hi, first off, very nice file and thank you for the freebie! But I would very much like to understand what’s going on within the file. Could you explain a bit about how it’s breaking up the logo? I’m also in CS6 so I don’t know if I have Cycore but I do have a bunch of CC effects (are they Cycore?), like the CC Pixel Polly I noticed that is used in the file. Any help and explanation would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Hi!
Exactly, those are Cycore effects and that’s all you need to run this project properly.
If you have any questions about the animation itself, feel free to drop me an email and I’ll try to explain a little bit more about how that “reveal” works.
