In case you want to skip the tutorial vid, please select the top most layer named “_Controllers/Info” and press F3 to open Effect Control where you will find Color to change. This will change entire text color at once.

And if you want to change specific text color, you will have to go to Update_Text_Here composition and select the desired text and click “Remove All Text Animators” under “Animation” menu and after this you will be able to change color in traditional way (ie. from Character Palette (Ctrl + 6). If still problem persists, I will made another video in depth.

You should be able to find it under Effect > Stylized > CC Repetile Or press Ctrl+5 to open Effects & Presets and start by typing the effects name

As mentioned in the link, these third party plugins are not available in trail version of After Effects CS4 .
