can I use your template map the different cities within the same country… add their points to the map
Hello keep in mind that this project is optimized to work with long distances. So for example if you create a connection from Venice to Milan, to make it visible you should go near to the Earth and the image quality of the earth map would be pixelated
it doesn’t show city when i search, i’ve download 2.0.4v but it still not work.
Hello I will check it, in the meantime please type the coordinates of the cities manually and the script will place the points in the correct places as well (please refer to the video tutorial). Thank you

Still not work, i try on 2 different pc they got same problem. i can only use coordinates, It works fine a few months ago.

Hello, when I start the script and type in any city, there’s no match. Even London or Los Angels – there’s no option of choice belot the text field. What am I doing wrong?
Hello there is a problem with the geocoding server provider. Please search the latitude and longitude values on Google maps or latlong.net and type them manually.I hope to fix the problem in the next week. Thank you

Hello, sorry, but I’m not sure if I understood your question correctly. Are you perhaps looking for an animation to connect nearby points on a map, such as within the same city or neighborhood? If so, you might want to take a look at “map route generator” or “travel map” templates. However, please remember that these templates use static maps that you will need to import into your project. Hello which after effects version are you using? Remember also that you have to change the extrude path value as explained in the videotutorial

Script needs to be dockable!. I have it in the scriptsUI directory. and expect it to be dockable but it is not. very annoying workflow. Script and template workings Template is great though. lol. but such amatuer hour without being dockable. all that effort and falls at the final hurdle
Hello, I’m sorry to read that the lack of a function to make the window dockable is a big problem for you. Honestly, when I had to decide whether to add this feature, I thought it might not be necessary since the script can only be used with its corresponding project, while it would definitely be more useful for a script that can be used daily on any project. The question is about the counter 3. The background color(circle color) of the counter 3 is dark gray. I need to change it to white but there is no any option for that specific change. Any work around?

Hi, I followed all instructions and when I open the composition the screen is black, I’ve tested VC Orb on a new composition, and it works just fine, so the problem isn’t the plugin. I have after effects 2022 and the file was automatically updated, don’t know if that is what caused it.

Hello a common error is the username field. Here you have to type your Videohive username (the same that you use to login on videohive respecting the characters capitalization) and not the license name that you read in the invoice. However if it doesn’t resolve the issue please contact me on marcobelli1981@gmail.com. thank you

hello yes of course, the template folder includes a script called “deactivate_license 3D Earth Connections.jsx”. Just run it on the After effects version where the “3D Earth connections” script was installed and press the deactivate button. If you have any trouble please contact me on marcobelli1981@gmail.com

Yes of course. There’s no limitations on the number of connections that you can create but obviously you have to consider the memory of your system so of course you can’t create hundreds of lines because after effects could crash…
