Hi there, Just bought and downloaded, my PC has 128Gb RAM, a Ryzen 7 3700 and running SSD drives and the performance is unbelievably slow. It also is listing 500+ expression errors. After Effects is latest version and each frame render time is listed as 750ms. Is it the expression errors that are causing the slowdown?
Hi, thank you for reaching out to us!
Normally this is an issue related to the expression setting that your After Effects is set in.
When you have the project opened. Go to File> Project Settings. From here go to the “Expressions” Tab. Make sure that the expressions engine is set to Legacy Extendscript, and not JavaScript. If it is set to JavaScript simply switch it to Legacy ExtendScript and press ok.
After doing this, the expression errors should be fixed and you should be able to use the product normally.
Hope this is of help to you! Of course, if problem persists you can contact me directly via email. It would be best to send me a few screenshots or a quick screengrab video of the specific problem, so that I can identify any issues and help you accordingly. You can send these to: stephanzammit@neuronfx.com
Hi, I am considering purchasing this product and would like to know if the characters, after effects, etc. are compatible and usable in Filmora X? I create family and friend videos for our various events and would love to add this animation. Thanks in advance for any compatibility input you can provide.
Hi, thank you for reaching out to us, The toolkit is only compatible with after effects software. If you would like to use it in filmora, you will need to export the characters out of Adobe After Effects to a video file, then import that video file in filmora and use it there. But most of the work is to be done in After Effects, so you will need an After Effects license and some knowledge of the software.
Hi, I am really like your character animation, but its really heavy when I used it in my PC. Is there any tips to make it more accessible ? I have 16gb RAM for my adobe after effect. Thanks
Hi, thank you for reaching out to us. I am glad that you like the toolkit!
Your PC specifications will be enough to use the toolkit. However they are the minimum recommended, so it may take some time for rendering, but you should be able to use it.
In the toolkit there is a feature named ‘boost performance’, just make sure that this is turned on when working with it so that previews and changes will work faster.
Also, in After Effects 2022, Adobe have just release multi frame rendering, we have seen a great performance upgrade in some instances using this new After Effects feature. Of course this will greatly depend on your CPU performance, etc.
Its not what i was looking for, I wish i could get the Refund

I recently purchased a product. However, my computer broke down and I had to work on another computer. Can’t I use it with another computer? I recently purchased a product. However, my computer broke down and I had to work on another computer. Can’t I use it with another computer?
Hi, thank you for reaching out to us. Yes of course, simply re-download it from the downloads section on videohive, and use it on the new computer.
Hello, I have purchased the product. I would like to know if it is possible to make the characters bigger without pixelation, so that I can make a shorter shot. A close-up or mid-shot, for example. I have not found the way. Are they already at their maximum size?
Thank you for reaching out to us!
As for scaling in, the Characters in the toolkit are quite hi-res (2800×2800), in order to allow these kinds of shots.
Simply work with the character like you would normally do, add the animations, etc. Then when you are ready, either render it out as it is or place it in another composition. Here you can simply select the layer of the character and hit ’s’ on your keyboard to scale. Scale the character up to achieve the shot you want. Since the resolution for the character is quite high, you should be able to retain the quality even when zoomed in.
Usually up to a medium shot in a full HD composition, this will work without any pixelation. If you want an even closer shot, you can toggle on the continuous rasterize switch (only when in the new composition you have placed the character in), and this will retain the quality of the head and hands, so they will actually stay sharp up to any size.
Hope this is of help to you. Of course, let us know should you have any questions!
Hi very cool template! Can I create Asian character?
Hi, thank you for reaching out to me!
As for your question, you can achieve an Asian head shape using the toolkit itself. As for the eyes, the eyes have pupil and eye size control, open/ close control (so you can make them wider/ longer), and colors, etc. However, there is not a specific feature to make them pointed.
Of course, other then this you can also import your own images of characters that you designed in other applications, like illustrator. These will be applied to the rig, and you will be able to use any of the included animations with them. When doing this, the only limitation is face expressions, and other head related features, which of course won’t work since you will be suing your own head image, rather then the head rig that is provided with the toolkit. You can however use your own character images for the body then use the included head studio to design the head, this way you will be able to use head features and will get best of both.
Hope this is of help to you! Of course feel free to ask us anything if you want more information!
Thanx for the reply!
Hi. I saw tutorial, but is there a simple way to create doctor character?
Hi, thank you for your message. The toolkit actually comes with a pre-made Doctor character. It is character 09. I would open this and use this directly. Then, of course should you need to customize anything from it you can do this using the character design suite to make it your own.
hi i’m freelance and i want to buy this product but i have a question can i use it forever or just one time

There are many animations related to training and exercise, you can of course also adapt and create new animations as required.
Hello. I bought this product, but unfortunately it does not run well on my PC and the rack is too heavy to use it well. I’m sorry, but I would like to request a refund..

hi . thanks for nice project could you send me the preview project as a template ae
Hi, thank you for reaching out to me! I am very glad that you like the project and are finding it useful!
As for the promo video; this is only intended for promotional purposes so it is not included with the toolkit, and unfortunately we don’t have a structured project file of this that we can provide.. You can of course construct any scene, using the scene designer, etc. Should there be something specific that you would like help to achieve feel free to let us know so we can guide you accordingly.
Hello developers. I will wait for a discount for your tool and immediately buy it. When you will be able to give a discount just say me and I buy it. Thanks a lot. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hello developers. I will buy your product, but say me please. After buying once this tool with Regular license, I can create as many videos for my youtube channel as I want. (This tool forever for me, I don’t have to rebuy it ever, only one time.) It considers like I using this tool with 1 license for only one company (my channel). And can I combine with other icons from other source with this tool? Is everything right. Correct me If I am wrong, please. I look forward to hearing you.
Hi,thank you for your interest.
Regarding multiple video usage… Basically each license is tied to an end product and a separate license needs to be purchased when working on a new end product. This is only different when you are working on a series of videos that are related to each other (for instance a TV series/ youtube etc), here you can produce multiple videos using the same license as the series itself is classified as an end product. In this case the limitation of this is 52 videos. So you will be able to make up to 52 videos with it then a new regular license need to be purchased. The license terms are not done directly by us but they are given through Envato Market so this is the same for any item that is purchased from envato.
Regarding other icons, yes of course you can use other assets and icons and combine them with our tool.
Is there the ability to create a priest and a nun? I’m looking to make a few explainer videos on churches. Thanks!
Hi, thank you for your interest! Yes of course. You can use the skirt feature to make a robe for a priest and nun. There are also 2 pre-made arab characters with the hood on their heads. this can be easily adapted to look like a nun, etc. Of course you can even add your own image assets to continue customize the characters.
Hi, I’m trying to do the “Pulling Hard” animation and paring it with the Scene Designer > Miscellaneous Items > Pulling Chain. But when adding the Pulling Chain to the comp the Pick Whip is only setting the chain to follow the right hand. When you double click the Pulling Chain comp you can see that there are two Layers, one called “Parent to Hand” and one called “Parent to Object”. But you cannot use the Pick Whip to parent these objects to things in your main comp, even if you open both comps up in a split view as explained here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSAnKhs_CVs
I feel this is missing from tutorials and the User Guide. Could you assist? Thanks!
Thank you for reaching out to me, I am very glad that you like the toolkit!
I have looked into this and there seems to be a bug with the parenting property in this object. I have found a quick fix for this, which you can easily do. Basically you need to parent the position property rather than the object directly. I have made a quick video for you to show you how you can do this.
You can find the link here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hi9rag7ay4cy0yk/Pulling%20Chain%20-%20Character%20Animation.mp4?dl=0
It is without sound but I think it should be enough to follow, just one thing to point out. When you click on the stopwatch at time 1:21 of the video, make sure to hold Alt key while clicking on it, to open the expression property.
Hope this is of help to you! Of course if you do not understand something or need any further assistance please let me know.
HI, Iam planning to buy it but I have a question. Under regular license can I use the character animation video for Instagram and YouTube ? also its a one time investment or do I have to pay again and again every year ? please can you clear the doubt ?
Hi, thank you for reaching out to me! Yes with a regular license it can be used for both instagram and youtube. Licenses are the same for any template on videohive, where each license/ purchase is tied to a specific end product. So you can use it for any duration when doing that end product. An end product can be for instance a video production or a whole series of videos that are related to each other. You can find the official documentation on this from envato:
You can find the official license documentation here:
Do I need a separate license each time I use an item in a series? No. You only need to purchase the item once per series.
What constitutes a series (eg TV series, webisodes, or a magazine with monthly editions)? To be considered a series, all things in the series (eg episode, edition) must be connected, and be released within 1 year of the first installment. There is also a maximum of 52 episodes or editions within the series.
hey Greetings, I didn’t get this I mean for example if iam creating a 52 videos out of these animated character and posting it on Insta or YouTube my license will get over ?? then I have to pay and buy it again and when again the 52 videos will get post, it will expire again ? please correct me if iam wrong
Hi, the license covers up to 52 videos that are released within 1 year. So after that year for the series of videos is over a new license need to be acquired for the new series of videos that will be released over the next year, etc.
If you would like to double check about this it would be best to contact Envato directly as they would know the exact terms of the license and guide you accordingly, since they produce the licenses… You can open up a support ticket with them here: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Hey buddy, this might be a really noob question, but in after effects is there a way to resize the character to scale the character larger in the composition
Hi, to do this it would be best to simply pre-compose the whole character, then scale the layer of the character up or down. The characters are quite high resolution, so you should be able to zoom in quite a bit without loosing any quality. This video shows how this can be done: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFAYjbetBMU&list=PLj2u0xlsUQfcg3MRc1rRomAj9adRIVHCj&
It is explained at around 12:00 of the video.
Hope this is of help to you, let me know should you need anything else!
Howdy,
I loaded Character 29. and I get “This project contains expression errors: error 1 of 568”
I will update this and say I’m not getting that error anymore. I think it’s just a matter of letting things load first!
but I do have a question I don’t find in the videos… the character is facing left… how do we make them face right before we add any animations.. so they look like they’re walking right and not left.
Hi, thank you for getting back to us regarding this. I am glad that everything is working well.
Regarding your question; all the animations are facing left by default. What you can do to make him walk to the right instead, is to flip the character horizontally using the scale, so that it will face the opposite direction.
So basically, to walk you through your example, you can do the following:
Add a normal walking animation, then add a walk_end animation, then add something like: Standing Pose 01 (so that the character stops), then add a Walk_Start and Walk_Loop animation. This way the character is walking, it stops then it continues walking. After doing this, you can either render the character with a transparent background or add it to a new composition.
You can see how you can add the character to a new composition in the following help video at time 12:09: https://youtu.be/NFAYjbetBMU?t=729When you are in the new composition, you simply need to split the layer of the character, when it is in the standing pose and flip it horizontally using the scale, thus like this it will face the opposite direction and you can make it walk to the other side.
You can see an explanation of this in the following help video, at time 4:07: https://youtu.be/w_45_RCuXLQ?t=247Hope this is of help to you! Of course, should you need further assistance, don’t hesitate to ask, we are very happy to help
Thanks!
Hey mate, i sent an email to stephanzammit@neuronfx.com regarding an issue loading characters, many of them have errors that shutdown after effects. Some work fine some dont load
never mind, i ended up downloading the pack again from envato and everything seems to be working now. Maybe i didnt have the latest update.
Hi, thank you for getting back to us regarding the issue. Glad it is working well! Let me know should you need any further assistance
Stephan
Hello, I will use your product to make videos on my youtube channel, what license do I need to get? Is the money I paid for one time? Or will I have to pay again each time I make a new video? or do I have to pay monthly or is it a one-off paymen
Hi, thank you for reaching out to us!
Right now the a regular license allows for use within a number of videos that are within the same series, so if the videos consist of a series of videos related to each other this will be covered up to 1 year and 52 videos (using a single license/ purchase of the toolkit). Most of the times youtube videos fall under this category since they are all connected and related. You can find the official license documentation here:
Do I need a separate license each time I use an item in a series? No. You only need to purchase the item once per series.
