Hello. I will buy your product, but say me please. After buying once this tool with Regular license, I can create as many videos for my youtube channel as I want. (This tool forever for me, I don’t have to rebuy it ever, only one time.) It considers like I using this tool with 1 license for only one company (my channel). And can I combine with other icons from other source with this tool? Is everything right. Correct me If I am wrong, please.
Hello petya2929, yes all that you said above is correct! No renewal fees and you can make as many videos for you channel as you need and also it is of course okay to combine the elements from this toolkit with various other elements from different sources.
Hello, I have purchased the Explainer Video Toolkit 4 and it is really a great tool. I have a question though, is it possible if I buy the “Character Animation Pack – Office and Corporate” to use the new characters on a video that it was created with the toolkit 4? Thank you
Hello tzimis0tigris, Thanks for asking! These two projects are using different character rigs that are not very compatible. They both have different goal and copying the animations / or style wouldn’t really fit. Probably the best way would be to customize the EVT4 character textures to replicate the style of Character Animation Pack. In other words, Character Animation Pack doesn’t contain a character texture like EVT4 that could be simply dropped into EVT4 made project.
Hi, Your product is the only one which runs smoothly on my (almost new) Macbook, and I love it! Question: Is it possible to use adult animations with kid characters? It seems that I could apply an animation to an adult character and then adjust the adult’s texture to look more like a kid – should work for at least some animations. Can you think of a better way?
Hi elmrule, I’m glad the template is working fine! Yes this is the correct way, however AE workflow has some limitations so if you would change limbs and torso length and size (to make the character look more like a child) then the keyframes of hands and feet animation would have to be manually adjusted too. I don’t know about any method to make this adjustment automatic and options in AE are limited so some animations would require more manual adjustments and some less.
Hi, how long is the license?
Hi mecarich, This license is unlimited in time, you can use it as long as you need
Hi Taerar, may I know if the movement for the characters can be unlocked and modified?
Hello, is it possible for the characters and setting to stay in place without disappearing on screen?
The composite scene and character disappear after 20 secs. How can I extend the scene and character so they won’t disappear?
Hi Jimmyp, The easiest way to do this would be time remapping. Select the composition you want to extend in the timeline and Right-click on its layer >Then go to Time > Enable time remapping.
Then you will see two keyframes on the layer marking start and end.
Move your timeline somewhere near the second keyframe and create one more keyframe. Then select the last keyframe and drag it right to extend the time. This will play your animation as usual and only extend duration of the last few frames. Here is a look on how it should look like:
Hi I follow you example. I only see one keyframe. Should I create another key frame?
Nevermind I figured it out!
On more question, it looks like the keyframe is lagging on my rendered video. Is there a way to fix this?
The audio seems to slow down
Yes time remapping changes the time flow of a composition and everything that is inside. Audio too. So you should put the time remapping only on the character animation composition – not to your main comp with many sub-comps or audio because they will be influenced too.. Or if the audio is inside your character animation then that should be moved to the main composition. I recommend to check some basic AE tutorials on time remapping it’s easy to learn.
Thank you so much!! you deserve 5 stars!
Hi, nice kit … I am having problems with switching out character textures. I have a character in multiple AE comps, when I switch “textures” it switches in all comps and I just want it to do one.. so I renamed and duplicated comps, but they still swap. and yes I have multiple different Character Animations
Hi kenphipps, when you duplicate a character comp inside the project panel then the new character will inherit the texture from its original so that is why the duplicates share the same texture. You have to load a character from the EVT4 panel again to generate duplicate that will not share the texture but have it’s own composition structure.
Thank You.
Hi Sir how can I fix the arm animation ??https://www.dropbox.com/s/fvulz4bykzuv9wt/Vet%20dialogue2.mp4?dl=0

Hello maizza901, The dog object has some minor issue that went unnoticed. Please download the updated object here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/133ZaE6IlNqbWRZqV_-ieuzbcZ84gFq3S/view?usp=sharing

Please i have a problem the toolkit dose not open … when i click on the script it keep rolling and after effects shows (not responding) and it keep like that until after effects crash… please is the problem from my laptop specs ( i7 4th gen nvidia 840m 8gb ram 1tb hdd ) ?
Hi Loke34, go to Edit > Preferences > Memory & Performance and check how much of these 8gb ram is actually available for AE. (You willl need at least 6GB left for AE. -> EVT4 takes around 2.4GB ram but temporary 3.2GB). Also you can try to purge your memory ( Edit > Purge > all). Please next time contact for support only form the account where you purchased the template.
Hi Taerar,
Just wondering if I bought this explainer video toolkit, will I be able to superimpose completely new character designs onto the existing characters, or will I always be constrained by the style of the current kit?
Hi kabir1979, The characters are using a texture composition with a special space dedicated for each body part. That mean anything you can fit into the space will show in the final character animation so the customization options are actually great. Also, the textures can be re used so you dont have to do the same work again. Please see this video so you have better idea how the character texture looks like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHho0WmtL5Q&list=PLU9kseFH_-G8JyPK41lQvwxeNMjn4KAJO&index=6&ab_channel=FrederikVanecek
can i make characters and sale it
Hi hanyelmehy, I’m sorry but you can not resell parts of this template. You can use it however as a tool for work on clients videos (freelancing). You can read more about various use cases here: https://videohive.net/licenses/faq
I just finished a huge project and I couldn’t have done it without Explainer Video Toolkit 4! It’s Easy to use and delivers results fast. My only request would be to have the same animation presets for the child characters that you have for the adult characters.
Thank you for using EVT4 and the feedback BlueHillDM! I’m curently working on a solution that could help with this task.
Hi. I bought this presets. And I have one trouble. When I choose one character, for example Man 01 Blank, the character is not the same as the tutorial. My character’s arms are too long, and the shoulder’s position is different. How can I fix it?
Hello toshi-zou, you can find a length controller inside the characters composition. It is the second controller on the left, or you can find it also in the timeline as Ctrl Limbs layer. There you can find values for arms, legs and other and change length or width.
Regarding the shoulder position, if something is off, you can open “Texture” composition and move the shoulder shape/graphic a bit up or down.
I got some little problems at the beginning but found the solution soon after. The project is really well done, thanks!
Thanks for letting me know! If you’ll need more help feel free to ask!
Hello, I will use your product to make videos on my youtube channel, what license do I need to get? Is the money I paid for one time? Or will I have to pay again each time I make a new video? or do I have to pay monthly or is it a one-off payment?
Hello fungry31, Thank you for asking, For this usecase you can choose regular license. It is one-time payment and then you can produce as many videos as you want. The downloaded tools/animations stays with you and there is no need to buy the toolkit again or renew.
So is the music included in the price? and will I be able to use the music without copyright issues?
I mean what they have shown below
Happy Upbeat Indie Rock ‘The Place’ prod. by $WEDO BEATS ‘Lo fi’ prod. by PROFOUND BEATS
You can find links for the music at the end of the item description. Two of them are free and two are paid.
I bought your product because I liked your product and the terms of service are more profitable. Can I request your e-mail address for audio files?
I found and sent a message
hi I cannot see the limb adjustment sec ion. Why window do I need to select to see this?
Hi colmshea85, You can find the limbs adjustment controls on the layer that is named “Ctrl Limbs” -> if you see only null names then change layer view mode to “layer name”. Or simply select the second square in the top left corner. All controls are inside “Effects Controls” panel . If you can’t see effects controls panel anywhere go to Window > Effects Control: and the panel will appear in your AE.
Hello Taerar, I’m having issues with this Toolkit 3. The problem is that customization effect controls does not work properly and characters present double overlays on their mouths and nothing seemes to change anything. Only the commands that increase size work. How can I resolve the issue?
Hello Guiseppe, you are in comment section of the newer version (4). The fix is easy, go to your after effects > file > project settings > expressions > set expression engine to “legacy extend script”. And then everything should work fine. Sorry this is because EVT3 is an older template, thats why I recommend to use the newer version which runs smoothly on all the new After Effects. Thank you Giuseppe
Is it possible to extend the amount of time the character appear on screen? For example my animated character is only here for 18 seconds. Lets say I want him on the screen for a little longer like 1 min. Can I do that?
never mind!
Awesome tool, question is there a quick and more efficient way to lip sync the character when I add audio or will I have to manually add the mouth flaps on each composition?
Hi jimmyp, yes the usual technique with mouth flaps is the way to do lip sync with EVT4 too. I recommend to check out SF Caddy script from aescripts. It could be useful and make the process faster.
