The only issue that you might have is the cycore effects bundled with non-trial versions of After Effects. Annoyingly, Adobe withholds these plugins until full version is purchased. The template uses one of these effects (for the floating dust particles).

It sounds like your entire render work area isn’t selected. To do this, go to the first frame and press b, then go to the last frame and press n. It should render the entire composition. If you still have issues, get back to me. Cheers

Hi there, the image placeholders can be used for photos or video. Just drag and scale your video into the placeholders as you would images.. If you have any trouble send me a message. Cheers

Thanks for comments. Sorry but sadly after effects in not backwards compatible. But in the near future I i intend to add an update (which will hopefully include compatibility with cs3 and cs4).:)

Hi there – that’s obviously a bit dependant on your machine, but the fancier effects (lens flares etc) are pre-rendered, as are all the 3D objects. So it’s just composite time which shouldn’t be too long.

All the 3D objects are pre-rendered so they can’t be removed from the scene unfortunately – but you could always re-frame the shot in After Effects, or mask it out.

If there is enough demand I could add an update with a blank end slate in the not to distant future.
