Hi, I bought your template and it’s working fine for me. I don’t have any problem to make it look the way I want. I only got one question about rendering for the web. With the current composition settings I got a file of 7 gb, which is quite big. Can you tell me which settings I need for publishing a video for the web so I can put it on my website? For example, what are the settings to make a demo video as shown here on Videohive of your file?
Thanks for the answer
Hello. Thank you for purchasing! I’m glad that you found the project useful. This video will show you how to render for the web. http://vimeo.com/24027726 You can also press the Caps Lock button during the render to speed up the render time. Let me know if you have more questions.
Hi there,
I will needing this for mining company project, can you do customise illustration? For example Heavy equipment, shipping, and etc, how much you will charge for each illustration? looking very forward for your reply.

Hardian
Hello Hardian, Yes I do make custom illustrations. Please email me from my profile page so that I can find out more about your project. (http://videohive.net/user/motioncraver (bottom right))
Hi, I am having trouble with the audio integration with the project. I am new to AE. I was able to render the video but without sound. I tried mp3 and wav formats but still nothing. I followed all the instructions you have mentioned in the previous comment about audio but still no clue whats wrong. I am using After Effects CS6 . Any help is much appreciated. Thanks
Hello, Thank you for purchasing! Make sure that you check the Audio Output checkbox in the Render Settings. Composition > Add to Render Queue > Lossless. If that isn’t the problem or you have more questions, I’d be happy to help. You can email me from my profile page for a faster response if you wish (http://videohive.net/user/motioncraver (bottom right))
Thank You! It works now.
You’re Welcome. Glad to help.
Hey,
I just purchased your project and the audio file clapping ukelele’s. Could you please instruct me how to incorporate the audio into the project as I am quite the noob at After Effects.
Thanks!
Thank you for purchasing!
To reconnect the audio:
Open the Project Audio folder located in the Project Window in After Effects. Right click on the AudioPlaceholder file and choose Replace Footage > File, look on your computer and find the audio file, and click open.
If you are using the longer version of the Whiteboard project you should choose the looping audio file, otherwise use the ClappingUkelele_Ending.wav.
Hope this helps
If you have more questions you can reach me by emailing me from my profile page (http://videohive.net/user/motioncraver (bottom right))
Hi is it possible to replace the illustration (the drawing guy wearing tie) ? Is it simply by replacing with another image or a whole lot more effort is required? thank you, Joie
Thank you for your interest in this project. It is possible, but it will require more effort than just replacing the illustrations. If you contact me from my profile page, I can let you know the steps required. (http://videohive.net/user/motioncraver (bottom right))
Can this be edited with Camtasia Studio 2.2?
Thank you for your interest in this project. No, It requires After Effects CS4 or later. If you do not have the software, I can edit the file for you. Please contact me from my profile page for rates. (http://videohive.net/user/motioncraver (bottom right)) You can also download the free trial of the software from the Adobe website and use it to edit the project, however the effect that curls the edges of the image/video placeholders will be inactive.
Hi, I would like to render the movie in 1920×768. Would that be possible?
Hello, Thank You for your interest in this project. Yes you can render in 1920×768, but the video would be cropped.
Hi, i’ve purchased the template and i’ve been working with it but my results aren’t as professional as i’d like them to be so I need some help. Can I contract with you to work on the template for me?
Hi, Thank you for purchasing! I’d be happy to help, please send me a message from my profile page (http://videohive.net/user/motioncraver (bottom right)) for my rates and other info.
hi, before I purchase this video, I would like to know if there are non business characters included. More alternative ones or just “normal guys” cheers
Hi Katoka, Unfortunately no there are not. Thank you for your interest.
Also… What to do if videos are longer than presets? (30” long)
You would need to extend the duration of the 3 Put Img/Vid Comps, The Img/Vid comps found in the Other Comps folder, The Main Comp, and the Render Comp to accommodate the extra time. Then extend the space between the keyframes on the Camera 1 layer for that section of the animation. If you need some more info please email me from my profile page, as I will be able to respond faster. (http://videohive.net/user/motioncraver (bottom right))
Hello Motioncraver, Very nice project! Congratulations. After rendering the project the sound of videos are mixed with each other and with the background music and never stop. How could I fix this problem?
Hello Thank you for purchasing! You would need to edit your video clips in the Put Img/Vid Here Comps so that they end at the proper time. The point where the video should start is marked in the Comp, so you would just need to end your video before the next one starts.
also, how can I speed it up a little? seems it stays a little long to read… but maybe I am too fast in my head w too much coffee…
You can apply time-remapping to the layer in the Render Comp and move the last keyframe toward the beginning of the timeline to speed up the whole animation (Layer > Time > Enable Time Remapping)
Hi, thanks for your answerd, you were 100% correct… now I am having an issue – after rendering – there was another minute of blank video – how do I really stop it?
here is a screenshot: https://skitch.com/createchicago/emn1a/dockYou are rendering from the Main Comp. You need to render from one of the Render Comps. They are in the RENDER THESE COMPS folder and will end at the appropriate time.
I took a look at the ‘long’ version, but when I did a preview in CS4 , when it gets to the part of showing the benefits – the pen is drawing ‘nothing’ You can see the hand and pen movement (in between the text) but nothing is displayed? Am I missing something?
Hi, Thank you for purchasing! The strokes will show less and less as you decrease the quality setting. So if you either zoom in or change the quality back to Full you should see the strokes normally. If you still can’t see the strokes please send me an email from my profile page, and I’ll help you find the problem. (http://videohive.net/user/motioncraver (bottom right))
Please see previous reply
this is at 36 seconds of the long one – somehow the hands holding the sign is very very very light – it like disappeared but is still there – I am not sure how to get it back – if I double click the layer it is dark, and I checked the opacity in the main layer it is 100% – I even imported a fresh version, copied the layer and pasted it but still it is really light – can you please help I don’t know what to do and don’t want to start over!
Hi there, Thank you for purchasing. The strokes will show less and less as you decrease the quality setting. So if you either zoom in or change the quality back to Full you will see the strokes normally. Also, the strokes will render normally as long as you do not decrease the quality of the Render Comp. If you have any more questions or are not sure how to return the Comp back to Full quality please send me an email from my profile page, I will be able to respond back faster. I just bought your ‘whiteboard write’ project’ and intend to use it as the homepage promo for my site. I was hooked to the presentation when I was browsing for presentation media that I could use for my site. Bravo for the wonderful work! I plan to purchase the other project of yours sometime in the near future! Meanwhile, I hope you will get your creative juices going to come up with more similar ‘eye-popping’ projects!
Just a tiny question – Don’t you provide support here or is it just strictly via emails?
Thanks
Francis Roberts – Malaysia
Thank you for purchasing! Also, thank you for such great comments. I plan to post some similar projects very soon, hopefully they will be considered eye-popping.
I provide support here, but I usually prefer to use emails for replies that are longer, and require a lot of details.
Thanks again!
Cheers
I would like to purchase your awesome looking video. However, I wanted to use the opensource editing software Jahshaka. Is it possible to edit this video using this software or do I need aE?
Sorry. You would need After Effects CS4 or later. Thank you for your interest.
Hello there,
Wow, I have just gone through the video tutorial and loved it. Very thoroughtout and detailed. It really helps to a completely newbie in AE like me! I remain though a bit confused about a couple of points and would really appreciate should you can clarify:
- You provide 2 .aep files, the WhiteboardWrite.aep and the WhiteboardWrite_long.aep. What’s the difference between then, which one should I use? - I have also bought the audio used in your template (Clapping Ukelele) which also comes with two files: ClappingUkelele_Ending.wav and ClappingUkelele_Loop.wav. Which one goes with wich .eap file? And lastly, how can I incorporate the audio to the project? I see there is a folder called “Project Audio” but I am no sure what to do there.
Many thanks for your help and congratulations for a top work!
You can email back at jyanez@gmail.com if you prefer,
All the best,
Jose
Thank you for purchasing! I’m glad that you found the project and tutorial useful. I replied to your email.
Thank you Micaela for your help! I am making good progress with the template editing thanks to your excellente video-tutorial and your kind replay to my email. All in all, I am very happy with your product and support.
All the best,
Jose
That’s great to hear Jose! Thank you for your positive review.
All the best to you as well.
Great project. Almost matched our campaign look perfectly. Just wanted to point out that the captions for the video/image placeholders is not using the fill effect to automatically match the “secondary color”. This means is stays red, even if you change the secondary color.
It was an easy enough fix to just copy the fill effect from another text layer.
Thank you for purchasing! Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for letting me know. I will fix it right away.
