The “Blinds” effects in Aftere Effects are not matching the previews on the website—I’m needing the purple color effect in the Blink effect but its not appearing in After Effects.
Nevermind, found them, they were another identical set but colored in a different folder “COLOR TRANSITIONS” thx
Guys, this isn’t working at all, Dynamic Link won’t work because my premiere and after effects are different versions, but I can’t change that, due to bugs on the most recent version of after effects on my computer.
I tried the transitions the old way by rendering the composition, but that doesn’t work at all either. Do you have a solution other than using adobe dynamic link?

Yes, for AdobeDynamicLink to work, the versions of Premiere and AE must be the same, this has always been the case, this is Adobe’s policy.
There are no other options for working between Premiere and AE. Or do all transitions in AE, output and add to Premiere.
In AfterEffects, the project works stably, without any errors.
Hello, sorry to trouble you, but having an issue with a few of the Flare transitions. Certain JPG’s are acting as they are missing. And when I try to Replace Footage, I get error messgaes saying: Flare 10_00.jpg cannot be imported – this file is damaged or unsupported. Another alert goes on to say: The source file has a bad header. Please check that it is a valid file. (86::1). Any thoughts? Thanks

Try to solve the root cause of the missing files. Perhaps when moving the project files, the path to the .jpg sequences was accidentally changed. I recommend unpacking the archive with the transitions and checking their work.
As for errors about file corruption, most likely these are some internal AfterEffects errors, since these are ordinary .jpg sequences and there can be no problems with them.
Try to unpack and run the project with transitions again, I think it should help. Also, if there is another version of AfterEffects, you can try to open it in it.

When you download a project from videohive, it is in a .zip archive. I meant to unzip the archive with all project files (by default)

You can drag and drop the .aep file to the “Project” panel in your current project or select File > Import and select the .aep file with the transitions. It will appear in your project as a folder.

Hello, I’m trying to use your Lower Thirds (07), and need to have 3 versions of it as I’ve three speakers. But when I try to drag a new instance of it to my timeline, it seems to use the same name change as the previous one I created. What is the correct procedure for this please? Thanks, Anthony

Missing tonnes of files in mine, many transitions do not work
Hello lim36. I assure you that all transitions are in working condition. Please extract the transition archive again and try opening it again.
Perhaps you moved the transition files without a folder (Footage), so the program cannot find the path to these files.
If you want to move transitions to a specific location, you need to copy the entire “Transitions” folder.
I’m also having trouble with the particle transition that omnivore had. Black solid background. I don’t have a video tutorial that is longer than 5:25 to see a 8:40 timecode. Am I missing something?
Hello Fishdeodorant. There was an old video tutorial, since then it has been updated. The fact is that you need to do everything the same as for the Shape transitions (shown at the beginning of the video tutorial).
You need to add a transition on top of your footage, click the collapse transformations button and do a pre-compose. And everything will work.
Okay I will try that. I figured that might be the answer. The particle layer didn’t have the note to pre-compose it like the others. Thanks for your response.

Hello archartsnorth! Opened the .aep transition files with the version you specified. No problems or errors were found. Please try to open it with a different version of After Effects, or reinstall the current one.

There were two updates. One from February 22nd and the second today from February 24th.There were some bugs in the first update. Perhaps you downloaded the first update?

I can’t seem to get the Particle transition to work. When I collapse the Particle composition I get a black background instead of showing the bottom footage underneath the new top footage.

Trying to use the same Lower Third repeatedly in the same video—it keeps acting like a duplicate (any text changes are duplicated on every version of it), even when I copy/paste or duplicate in the Project are (not the timeline). What should I be doing? Thx!

You need to duplicate the composition – “Lower Third 01” and “Edit lower 01” (located in the Edit folder).
Let’s call them for example Lower Third 01 > Lower Third 01_copy1 and Edit lower 01 > Edit lower 01_copy_1
Next you need to go to the duplicated composition “Lower Third 01_copy_1” and replace the composition “Edit lower 01” inside it with Edit lower 01_copy_1.
(select – Edit lower 01, hold down the Alt button and drag from the composition panel: Edit lower 01_copy_1 – it will be replaced)
Next, change the text in the composition Edit lower 01_copy_1 and you’re done!

So, when I use for example curtain color transaction for my video edit but when I use the collapse transformations the below video does not show and only see a gradation of blue and purple where the below video should show. I am using Ae6. I followed your video instructions but this is not working.
