Hi there, I am not familiar with how the aeviewer works and I didn’t use this plugin to create the menu so probably there isn’t a way how to show the gifs directly in the main menu. Anyways aeviewer looks useful so perhaps in future update of EVT4 I include this function. Thank you for your recommendation!

I have already use latest one and install script 2 times but still give me Error when i add effects and preset on items , it shows ” The Project contain expression error 1 of 1, Error at line 1 propery ‘Opacity of layer 1’ balah balah

1. Open AE and go to: File > Project Settings > Expressions 2. In the Expressions Engine list, select “Legacy ExtendScript” and click OK.

Hi Quentin, Thank you! Most of the elemetns from EVT3 is also in EVT4 but in redesigned shape and improved performance. EVT4 has more elemetns and is much newer thus fully compatible with new AE so I definitelly recommend to buy the newer version.

According to envato licensing terms, license is bought per project. That means for example, if some company, lets call them “Company A” will ask you to create set of 10 (or any number) of videos for them, you will need just 1 license. But, if another company “Company B” will ask for another set of videos for them, they should have their own license. So that basically means, 1 license per 1 company/entity. So if all those videos are on your behalf, or on behalf of single entity then you need only one license.

I’m sorry for such late reply. You can take a look on the source file in EVT4.2 > Other Files > Story 01 Source Files. I’ve just changed order of a few layers (like neck, ears…) and disabled visibility of a few layers (Eyes, mouth..) and made a little changes to position of shoulders and I guess thats it . You can actually use the elements from the original source files and just change texture.

Seems like no rig is working (Eyes, Eyebrows, head) L/R Legs and hands, body are working by moving but sliders are not!

Anyone else with similar issue?

thenabeelkhan, the controlers are working but you should select and move not the whole controler (blue square) but only select and move the middle of the controler (white little square).

Do you have any video explaining how to do that because I looked at the tutorials but still I am not able to do that… can you help me change the hair style

Hi matthewktoh, I’m sorry for late reply, It seems like visibility on layer #17 “Texture” is turned off. Please try to turn the visibility on. The timing issue seems like some new AE bug, so far i don;t know solution to this but you can hit “shy” button to reveal all layers, Select all layers and simply move them on timeline so the animation starts at 0:01.

Hi Jennifer, Even though you plan to make 12 videos, they are all for the same company / project so that counts as single use. You can create as many videos as you want on single license if it is for the same company/project so you need to buy only one license. Have a nice day!

Hi there, The download don’t start automaticaly after the payment. You can choose to download it at any time through logging into your videohive account and going to “downloads” section. So you can download it on any computer if you have access to the account where you purchased the item.

I opened toolkit 4.1 in AE CC 2018 and character import was fine but in 4.2 its giving expression error I also emailed please reply I will share all details there. Thanks

When other users reported this kind of error it was always connected to using non-english version of AE. Please check again if you are using After Effects in English. It is quite easy

(1.) select object (2.) drop an animation preset on the object (3.) Add 1 or 2 markers to the object (marker 1 will tell the script when animation starts, and marker 2 when animation out should start) (4.) adjust animation values if you like.

I also tried the trick to change the expressions engine list in the project settings and I still get no motion.

Hi divinedesign, I am sorry for late reply. I was on a big vacation and just got back in the work.

The new animaion presets works without keyframes but they need markers. So you have to just drop the animation preset to any object, and then manually add a marker to the object. (this marker will tell the script when the animation start) (go to Layer > Add marker to add the marker). Or if you want also “Out” animation then add another marker to the object. You’re free to move these markers and adjust timing with them.

It is simple to adjust the animation. Go to “Simple Typography 11” Select the word or layer “wonder” -> Press “U” twice. (UU) ...this should reveal all properties of the layer which were changed. Then find “position” property and change value ( -230,0) to something like positive (0,-200)

Looks like it was just an issue with windows user account permissions.

It seems like your character is missing a texture. Go to “Texture” composition inside any character animation and make sure your composition looks like on the image below. (maybe turn on visibility of the texture or add a texture if the old texture was deleted for some reason.)
