Premiere Pro works so that if you import into your project another project created on another computer – it loses file paths.
In this package, each transition includes sound FX files, and other media files for which Premiere Pro also loses the path.

To ensure that the “Missing Media” window does not bother you more, just do the following:

1. In the directory where you unpacked the zip archive with transitions, open the “Presets” folder.
2. Select a file with resolution that corresponds to resolution of your project and resave it.

It’s ready – these actions will enable Premiere Pro to remember the way to the required media files that are included in the package.

Also, if I just drag and drop the whole sequence from the media window, it shows as a nested clip. I have to open the preset sequences separately and copy and paste the specific transition elements. Is that correct?

Hello. Make sure that the resolution of the presets is the same as the project resolution. The resolution can be set by yourself. Read more here. The first track transitions contains previews. So I finally figured it out. The instructions assume you are a paid professional using PP everyday. No where in the instructions does it state to hide the stock footage track yet you are pretty much forced to import it. Weird and frustrating. Took 45 mins of my time away from me

To disable the insertion preview of transition – just disable the first video track:

Regarding the “Missing Files” warning, this is an unavoidable problem, since these presets include sound files such as “Whoosh”, “Glitch” and so on. In order for Premiere Pro to remember the location of these files on your computer, you just need to re-save only once the project file. After this, this warning will not appear. Read more here.

We can make these presets much easier to use – by deleting all audio files and deleting the prerender preview. In this case, the “Missing Media” warning will not appear and you will be able to simply open the project and drag the preset into your sequence. But the transitions will be without sound and you will have to choose the desired preset by name, without seeing it preview – please let us know if this method is suitable for you? If this is acceptable for you, we will send you such a transitions package.

P.S. I’m sorry that for you it turned out to be difficult, we tried to make these presets as easy to use as possible. And for today it is the easiest way to use this transitions type (with standard Premiere Pro tools without plug-ins) on Videohive. I note that this method is also used by other authors, for similar packages of presets, because it is the most convenient in the current version of Premiere Pro 2018.

Moreover, some effects in Premiere Pro work differently in version CC.2018 and older versions. Therefore it was not reasonable to do this in the version lower than CC.2018, since most users are using the latest version. Hello. Switch the graphic acceleration from Open CL to Metal in the project settings and the problem should disappear.

Hello! In Premiere Pro, it is not possible to conveniently adjust the target point of the zoom, in contrast to the After Effects package, in which it is done in a few clicks. If the version is lower than 12.1.1, please update Premiere Pro using Adobe Creative Clouds.

It says that i’m running 12.0.0, but it’s weird when i try to update the app via Adobe Creative Cloud it says it’s up to date. Any suggestion on what to do?

Hello. Apparently you dragged the transition to the timeline before you disabled the first track. You need to disable the first track before you start dragging transitions to the timeline. This works for all transitions is the same. Delete the old transition from the timeline and drag it again. If the first track is disabled everything will work.

You should make the main tutorial with other transitions like Glitch. Is weird so many people experience the same problem…
