After AE update the script started asking for purchase code, and after I’ve done that it says “unable to connect” and I’ve allowed scripts to access network from settings. If you have copy protection, make sure it works.

It doesn’t work with Arabic language RTL. Only alphabet RTL.

Hi, if you download the new file, it won’t require serial anymore to use. Just open the aep and run the script. It should be working.

Any suggestions on what to do if the Delay(frames) doesn’t change the animation duration? Seems like no matter what number I set it as the animation completes in less than a second.
Ah yes, that is because Random Reveal is active. If you set Random Reveal to 0, and it will use delay(frames) value.
Also, after the latest update anytime I render an animation the script UI box doesn’t work again. I have to close it then have AE rerun the script for it to work again.
Yes, it need to re-run the script and read the project in order to work again.
How disappointing – It is not working for me. I’m trying to use it in AE CC 2014. I open a new project and I can see the MotionType panel (undocked) when I open it. However, Style is blank (there is nothing in the drop down box) and also Font is blank (nothing in the drop down box) – So I cannot use it at all. Please help.
Hi thank you for your purchase. To use this script, each time you need to open the motion type aep file, and then run the script. The style and font fields will be enabled. The script will need to read the preset from the project.
You also can import the motion type aep file into other projects. As long the project is opened, it will work.
Hi there. Thanks, I have managed to do this now. Really, that requirement should be in the install txt file because there is no mention of it. I spent two hours trying to get it to work! Most people would expect to be able to open a new project file and for the script to work.

I installed this plugin into my script UI panel however when running it the dropdown panel does not show up for “style” or “font” and it just seems to be frozen. I am running an iMac on AE 2017
Thank you for your purchase. Yes before open run the script, you need to open the motion file project file first (Or you and import the aep file into other projects too) then run the script.
Hey! Love the script. It’s working well in CC2018 no problems. I have a question, though… I want to change the direction that the text animates in for the “MTstyle02 Cut Slide 02”from bottom to top. It looks like I just need to edit the script in the “Char 1” transform settings, but not quite sure what to change it to. I see that I can randomize it in the Style settings, but I just want it to change from bottom to TOP when I uncheck that toggle. Make sense? THANKS!
Hey Thank you for your purchase, in the Char 1 transform setting, look at these line and change it to this:
if(chk==1) { y=linear(key,start_y,cw); }else{ y=linear(key,cw-h-b,cw); //this one }
it should move from bottom to top.

Hi, thank you for your purchase. Im sorry this tool is only for single text. You can create a multiple text animator to form a second line. To use it, you need to import motion type project file (or import it to your current project) then run the script. It should load the presets.

Hi, thank you for your purchase, If you upgrade AE from previous version, you need to copy the Motion_Type_1.0.jsxbin file to the ScriptUI Panels in the CC 2018 AE folder. It should appear in the Window menu

What is the easiest way to customize the kerning or space between the letters? I’d like to have more space than just the default that comes from the font.
Hi, thank you for your purchase. Yes, you can select the letters comp layer and move it.
Yes I am aware of that, I was asking if it is possible to set the kerning in a way that applies to the entire word rather than moving each comp one by one. It is difficult to make new spacing precise and I’d like to do adjust all at once.
I’m sorry, for now the script only use spacing default from font to gaps between the letters and the only way to make customize spacing for words or letters is select and move manually.

To use this script, first you need to open the aep file (!Motion Type) and run the script. It should load the styles.
Ill try again, do the fonts need to be installed? I was using my fonts prior to the update.
Yes, for default font but you can add font into the script later (see video 04 – Add Font)
