Hi, Thank you for choosing us, Well you have to find the items that matches your text, in most case you can create the exact thing you need, but you’re right sometimes the design and contents won’t match and this is the way many of templates on Envato Market works. and it’s kinda the limitation of templates not the Typebuilder. Many thanks for your feedback we definitley consider it and for your information, we are working on solutions that could at least make it easier to find and use Typebuilder items.

Oh, I think you are using “Get” Button on a comp or typography layer that doesn’t belong to Type Builder, you have to use one of Type Builder items in order to customize it with the toolkit. it won’t customize the text that you created directly with AE, so you have to open a comp first, find something that you like from the Typebuilder toolkit … click on create button and then press get .

user/”your name”/Library/Application Support/ Adobe/Common/Essential Graphic
