I’m sorry to hear that you have problems opening the script panel. To be honest it’s something I’ve never experienced, so here are some things I would try. Could it be that you have two monitors (maybe one turned off) and it is displayed there? When I uncheck the script panel in the window tab and re check it, it pops up with light blue edges. Also if you had AE open when installing the script file, you need to restart AE.

Besides that there is another way to open the script panel. You need to go to the tab FILE > SCRIPTS > RUN SCRIPT FILE… Then you need to browse for the “PAv5_scripts.jsxbin” and open it. Make sure that you are browsing for .jsxbin files or all file formats. At least on windows only jsx files are preselected and you will not see the file unless looking for .jsxbin files. When running the file you should get the panel as well. The only difference is that you can’t dock it within the AE interface like it would be possible when opening as a window.

thank you very much for your interest in my Photo Animator.

Unfortunately I can’t do anything about the licenses. I sell exclusively on envato and thus only they can decide what can be done with a license and what not.

That being said, I totally agree that this is a problem and many tools like my Photo Animator are in the After Effects Project files category which all share this license model. It would make more sense that you can use it an unlimited time. So to get an official answer you would need to contact envato.

But there also is an official envato rule regarding series. Since you said you want to use it for your youtube channel it seems all your videos are part of your series. And you can use this product for an entire series as can be read here : https://videohive.net/licenses/faq#separate-license-a

Thank you very much for your nice words about my Photo Animator. The Photo Animator is one AE Project. You can load one picture at a time and create one animation for up to 20 seconds and render it. Then you can create your next animation. You need to put them together afterwards. Regarding the “Stitching Project”. Well I haven’t had a request about that for quite some time. As I remember it was two parts. One Photo Animator projectfile with the correct settings where all animations had to be created one after the other. Then these renders needed to be placed into that stitching projectfile. Since this stitching technique was nothing I intended to make public in the first place it is not very user friendly. But quite a few people asked for it back then, so I shared it. Since one of the files is the Photo Animator (although an older version) I can only send them if you buy. Please understand.

I’m sorry to hear you are having difficulties. Of course I’ll try to help. From the short description it is hard to figure out what exactly is (not) happening. But a few things that come to my mind, which might be the problem are:

1) When the “create Object” script window is already open before you created the mask your mask will not show. You need to close the window and click again on “Create Object(s) from masks 1080” to re-open it.

2) When creating the mask, you need to make sure that you have the mask layer selected. Otherwise you’ll create a shape mask which will not work.

3) Might you have created the mask in the 3840_2_Set_Mask comp instead of 1080_2_Set_Mask comp?

4) is the mask closed? Only closed masks will work.

If it’s nothing from the things that just came to my mind, I’ll kindly ask to contact me through the contact form on my profile with a more detailed explanation or write me an email to the address given in the “pdf_documentation_v5.pdf” with a screenshot.

Does the first mask show in the dropdown?

Hi there, actually nothing has changed. I asked Envato to change the price of my Photo Animator for this running sale. I wasn’t aware I could do it myself (this option was only added last month I was told). Anyway, since an Envato reviewer made the price change for me I guess that’s why it was stated as “updated”. thank you very much for your interest in my Photo Animator, and sorry for the late reply. I was away for the weekend.

Regarding the licenses, it is correct that both Photo Animatos have different linceses. This is because they are in different categories. The category: “After Effects project files” usually has the licenses “Regular” and “Extended”. When I uploaded my Photo Animator I didn’t realizes that all files in that category have these licences. It took me some time to realize that the “Add Ons” category has the “Tools” license. So when I found out about the “tools” license I decided to place the “Simple” version in the “Add Ons” category because the Tools license makes much more sense for a tool like my Photo Animator. Unfortunately I can’t change the catergory (and license type) of my “Photo Animtor”. I think the “Tools” license makes more sense but only envato has the possibility to decide what license a product (or category) has. I would not be allowed to grant you a type of license, only envato can do so…

It’s unfortunate… I will play it “simple” ( ), I’ll write immediatly to Envato hoping theyll answer before the end of the “Sale” because i’ll be away during two days and will miss the end of it. I don’t want any Licence issues. I hope envato can answer quickly but i’m afraid they’ll stay behind their Licence Policy even if you tell here that it’s in the wrong category. Maybe you could ask them to switch it to the other category, so no more “possible” issues. Telling this is i think important, because I’m not sure that all your customers who bought the “pro” version (it’s the one i want at start) are aware about this limitation !
