The Character Generation System/ Assistant plugin looks great. It looks like it will allow a character to be created quickly without much work at all. I can’t wait to purchase and give it a try.

I’m going through the instructions right now and I just wanted to stop and say THANK YOU. Your team has created some very detailed instructions with pics. So many devs fall short when it comes to good documentation and tutorials. They assume their customers will know what to do so they skip steps and don’t explain everything. Anyone should be able to follow along providing they read and watch your gif examples. Ok, back to reading/viewing.

I have a question. The instructions say you can install on a work machine and a home machine. I understand that but the next line was confusing.
“At the same time on one unique computer you can activate the plugin simultaneously on any versions of After Effects”.
What does that mean? Do I have to remember to exit out of the AinTrailers_Tools plugin in After Effects on one machine before trying to use the plugin on the other? Or can both computers have the plugin running at the same time.
1) “At the same time on one unique computer you can activate the plugin simultaneously on any versions of After Effects”. – This means that on one computer (e.g. home machine) you can use the plugin on all versions of the After Effects (e.g. CS6, CC, CC 2015, CC 2017, CC 2018) at the same time. For us, it’s all counted as one computer.
2) Of course, you can running the plugin on both computers at the same time if you have such a need. For honest customers this has no consequences. This will have consequences for buyers who want to use one license for several people. In this case, the license will be automatically disabled for all users who tried to activate the plugin.
Understood. No need to use it on 2 machines at the same time. I can only be in 1 place at a time. 
However, I was just making sure if I forgot it running on my work and then wouldn’t be able to use it on my laptop at home. Thanks for the explanation.

The app itself will be free for parents, but the school will be paying an annual subscription fee. Which license do I need?

Pre-sales question. Is it possible to manually change the skin tone on the existing characters to make some black characters?
Hi! Yes, it is possible in the current version and we can prepare a guide for you, but soon there will be a release of the new version.
I’ve seen the same question asked for months if not over a year but I’ve never seen the skin color guide provided. Is it a long process to manually change the skin color? i.e. Editing files in Illustrator?
I know you are diligently working on v2 which will have the skin color selector feature built in according to previous comments, video tutorials and your website. Plus, it seems v1 is end of life and v2 is where all of your focus is at. So, I’m wondering if it is better to wait for v2 but it seems v2 has been in dev for a while now with delays from AE bugs, licensing server setup, etc.
I really like what your toolkit has to offer after looking at the promo videos and checking out your website. However, I'm not sure if it makes sense to learn how to use v1 and then have to learn different methods since it sounds like v2 is supposed to be an "epic" revamp.So, I don’t want you or me to waste time if v2 will be released in the next week or so. However, if you think it’s going to take another month or more for v2 than I would ask if you could provide the guide. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one that would find the skin color selector guide beneficial until v2 can be released.
Don’t worry, v2 is ready to be sent to the Envato review, licensing server is ready also. Therefore, you better study the materials on the new version. We specifically uploaded v2 video tutorials to our youtube channel, that people could learn the possibilities of the new version in advance.
We are completing the last promotional materials for the product page, as there are a lot of opportunities in v2 and it’s difficult to show. Therefore, presumably tomorrow night we will send a new package to the review.

Yesterday I received – as a beta tester – the release of AinTrailers V2. Many many thanks for it! The first thing I did was take a look at it. In one word… fantastic. This new release save me a lot of time, especially the new plugin. What I did in 20 minutes is with the use of the plugin reduced to 5 minutes. This plugin is really a time saver!!! And I mean a timesaver. Also the explainervideo’s via YouTube are very clear. The separate templates are easy and fast to import in Adobe After Effects. I use AE 2017 en 2018. The guys of Ainforce did spend so much time into this second version that your buy is the best you can get in the market. In my first command i gave 5 stars but with the release of V2 it must be at least 6. Hopefully it will be a succes and I must say it again: do not doubt to buy this great and very complete template, you will certainly not regret it.

Good news for everyone! We are one step away from the release v2. The previous two days we worked tight with the first beta tester, which helped us find two problems with the activation of the AinTrailers tool. Today we have completed work on eliminating these problems. So on Friday the main group of beta testers will get access to AinTrailers v2 for beta-testing and review.
Now the official announcement. AinTrailers v2 will be released next week.

I have 40gb of Ram installed and it still taking more than 30 secs to show a item from the aintrailer templates to show up on the main canvas. How do I make this process run faster?
Hi! It’s very strange situation. We need to study your PC settings (video card, processor) and AE configuration in more detail. Because we are right now making a promo video about AinTrailers v2 (~ 5 minutes) and with a lot of materials, which is almost unrealistic for the usual 1-1.5 mins explainers and we use 16GB RAM, 2GB VAM and we do not have such a problem.
