Hello ellabontogon, I’m sorry, but this project is made with After Effects and does not have a Final Cut version.

You can see Software Versions on the right when you look at projects and you can look for Final Cut templates on the apple motion part of videohive.

Thanks for the comment. Just to be sure I answer you correctly, I will try to talk about multiple types of lengths. But before that I’ll answer the text question. All texts are made with effects on text layers. So that means you can just copy paste a text layer and type out your words and they will animate. Then duplicate the layer and write a different word and it will be animated etc. For the write on and fall on animations you can actually write full sentences in your text layers and they should look good. But for the sporadically jumping letters in version 2 it might be best to use one text layer for one word. We thought that making a lyric video by copying individual letters would be a very time consuming and difficult endeavour, so we did our best to make an easier, faster way of creating these type of videos. There’s still some copying and pasting involved of course (text layers and effects have to be copied).

As for the lengths: 1) All elements are set up effect so they can be sped up or slowed down (of course they might start looking rather weird if you go too far with that). 2) The preview versions are just that – a preview. If you’ll use a different song, then you will have to readjust the lyrics anyway. You can freely make those longer or shorter or start off in a brand new composition. 3) The text layers have either an “in speed” effect which allows you more or less tell the script how fast the animation should be and where it should stop or two markers, one marking the start of the animation and the other the end of the animation. Once the appearance animation has ended the text layer will keep wiggling around at the frequency you have chosen. So in theory text layers can be made as long or as short as you want them as well.
