Hey there, CTRL + i will only import the image file to AE…more specifically to “Project panel”. Then you open the Logo composition and drag’n’drop the file from Project panel to the composition. That’s it

Open FINALcomp and move time indicator where you need or simply hit “0” on numpad to RAM preview (takes some time for AE to render frames for preview)

You must have at least one render item queued in order to render?
I am going to Window / Render Queue as the documentation states
Use Adobe Media Encoder to render. It’s also described in help file with video tutorial 
I am using after effect cs6 – I rendered a test yesterday without any issue, But today I am getting this new error
Ok then, just go to render queue, select the last render and hit CTRL+d to duplicate the render settings. Then hit RENDER

Hey there, these are After Effects templates, so you need Adobe After Effects to be able to edit it. So basically, you’ve got 3 options:
1) Download a free AE trial and give it a try: http://www.adobe.com/products/aftereffects.html - and no worries, many of my clients were using it for the very first time and were able to manage it.2) I can customize and render it for you, but that is a paid service
3) You can ask someone else to customize it for you.

So wait, I need to buy a full version of the After Effects software to make the changes and save them? Or will the trail version be enough to save the changes? I’m pretty sure i can figure out how to work the software, I don’t want to have to buy the software just so I can use this video.
The trial works for 30 days as full version. So you should be OK

You just need to put it in FINALcomp, not DE_FINALcomp. I need to stress it out more in the provided help file

want to buy this but have a question. I am building a tool to build some backlinks and cannot use this template as is. I would need to replace a lot of images in this template. Can this be done? How much can this template be customized – only audio and text or like ever detail?
Also where do you get those images from? I would need some different images for my video.

Hey there, everything in this template can be customized. There are no pre-renders or stuff like that. But to be honest, this would require a pretty good After Effects skill or a professional motion designer since my explainers are mostly intended to be used as is. I base all my templates on graphics by Designmodo’s flat UI, you can get other icons there: https://designmodo.com/flat/

I purcahased this seo video explainer and the doc file for simple logo implementation and url is nowhere to be found. the documentation (and I have the latest) does not match the files I have received. There is no FINALcomp. Click this, click that, USING WHAT APPLICATION of which I do not have. I was told I would be supplying 1 graphic and 1 url, very easy in 2 minutes. Where do I do this?

Hey there! Are you using the German version? If so, please import the file to AE and put it inside the FINALcomp…not DE_FINALcomp.

That’s strange, man…it should work OK, just put the SFX layer to the start of FINALcomp and it should be in perfect sync. Have you tried to RAM – preview? What version of After Effects do you use?
is it possible to change the text to dutch?
Any of the texts on screen can be changed, yes… The voice over must be recorded.
where can I fins the vocals?
Hey there! If you mean the voice over, it is included right inside the project. Just open After Effects and there it is, ready in FINALcomp.
I’ve had some issues with set up, the sales copy states on the page, “Free e-mail support: havin’ trouble with my template? Always happy to help!” When I’ve been reaching out to the seller this is the comment I received, “I’m sorry, but it’s pretty hard for me to support you right now since I’m on skiing vacation with my family…” The email also stated I can follow the directions in the pdf. Wow, where’s the customer service?

I am just curious why it says just add your logo and your done… when I see this, looks like its missing some video footage or something. I checked your video and it seems to be the computer graphic?.. not sure, but can you explain what I should do, or if you can send me the correct files?... Wow tried to render… then saw a pop up that says 23!!!! Footage files missing????? http://postimg.org/image/kczdznn7d/ so its worthless to me without those 23 files.
Oops, Found the footage folder.. Sorry I missed that! Be sure to extract the footage file folder and .aep file
You just need to extract everything to one folder before starting the project ...common issue, no worries
