I actually forgot to put resizing the project in the tutorial so I’ll briefly walk you through.

Basically you need to obviously resize the composition. (Apple + K)

The other thing you need to do is resize the other layers. Unfortunately there’s no easy way to do it other than manually.

However the only layers you will need to to resize are SOLID colour layers (Apple + Shift + Y). These are usually colour coded as BROWN or if they are used as particle effects, ORANGE . These two colours need to be ‘hard’ resized or you will lose quality.

ALL other layers, that includes adjustment layers (RED), text (BLUE), or any other colour can generally be scaled normally without losing quality.

Now please don’t take this as hard code documentation, it’s just a general guideline that should help. I’m really sleepy and I can’t think But keep posting comments i’ll try to answer them as I go.

Sorry, one more question – is there an easy way to change the project, as stated originally, to 1920×1080 (or even 1440×1080 for that matter) by more than just the Composition Settings? Does everything have to be scaled individually or as a group, and if so, wouldn’t that greatly affect the overall quality?

I rebuilt a slightly different project using the ‘Trailer Uncomped’ composition.

No the music has been cut a little. Only in 3 places so it’s easy to edit. I’ve taken the end, put it in the beginning and cut some of the middle out

You can use final cut, or any sound / video editing program to do it.

Wow, that’s fantastic. I’ll probably purchase before getting a reply, but does the project file have the same outline as the sample (w/o the music, of course)....in other words, can the demo be used as the actual project itself?
