Do u mean the background of the whole lower third?
Yes. Right now it is black – is there a way to change it to another color? We are having difficulties taking out the black background in Premiere using color key and chroma key – the titles are getting distorted.

How to I change the width of the description box? I’d like to add more text in place where you’ve put “motion graphic designer” to put “Speaker, Author & Business Consultant” but it doesn’t fit without making the fonts too small to read. I’d like to make that area wider. I’m working on Lower Third 9. Thanks for the great project!

Do You mean the lower thirds duration time ? Yes You can . I can send to u video tutorial to do that

Great animations however I can’t edit the main box colors in After Effects CC 2015. Specifically the gray stripes on Lower Third 99.
You can change the main box colors from The “Edit Colors” Comp from This screenshot about the gray stripes send to me an email to fix it with You and I will Update the template with this modification
