IATSE 600 Director of Photography
Nathan Haugaard is one of those film nerds who started playing with cameras when he was 10 years old. With a career as an IATSE 600 Director of Photography and Camera Operator now spanning ten years, Nathan has filmed Mortal Kombat, James Cameron’s Avatar Sequels, the Transformers Franchise, and various television programs including The List: 1001 Car Things To Do Before You Die for Autoblog and Velocity. Nathan has also collaborated with brands including Ford, Honda, Ciroc, Hasbro and musical artists Nicky Minaj, Moby, KSI and others. Storytelling is Nathan’s first love. His frames communicate this by featuring striking compositions with a gritty nature that translate a sense of reality, even in the most surreal circumstances. In addition to his cinematography, Nathan is a writer and is currently developing an adventure television series with Vice Studios and Netflix. Outside of the office, Nathan lets loose on his electric dirtbike in the American Southwest.
