Varuzzo Photography
I’m a photographer located in the Hudson Valley region in New York.
I’ve been passionate about photography for many years and started shooting digital in 1998 with some of the earliest digital cameras.
Photography had been a serious hobby, where my skills grew as a photographer alongside the latest technology each year. In 2007 my photography started to become a profession as studio product photography became a regular part of my job.
Studio photography is fun and presents many challenges, but lacks the rewards and payoff of photographing events and people. Capturing that ‘perfect moment’ is now the holy grail of my photography. Be it a wedding, a baptism, sports, or a large event, capturing people to reflect that mood and feel of an event brings true joy as a photographer.
Over the past three years, I have made enormous changes in how I compose, capture, and process each photograph that I take. I strive for a portfolio where every picture tells a story. Each time I pick up my camera I challenge myself to take my craft to the next level.
