Since the beginning of his design career Derek has led multiple award-winning studios as a Creative Director in search of creative solutions for the most challenging design obstacles including: Branding, 3D/2D Animation, Motion Graphics, Visualization, Architecture, Industrial Design, Web Design, UI, UX, SFX, and Audio Production. Derek now operates his own creative studio, Camp Pixel (camppixel.com), which produces promotional animations and branding for startups, new products, and business services. His clients have included: The University of Oklahoma, Broadcom, GOES, Exaptive, Oakley, Vube, Zippo, Shasta, Elliot + Associates Architects, GH2, Bean, Likeable Media, Intermedia, MedVoyager, State Farm, Upper Deck, and many more.
