Hello, looks like a very nice clean template. Is it correct, that I can select as many countries to highlight as I want easily to show them in an world overview? And can I animate the camera as I want? Also can I add manual selections/regions if necessary?
Yes, u have controls for camera and controls to reveal maps. However it is a little bit older template maybe you could check out flat world map in my portfolio, it is a little advanced version of the one you are asking questions. In flat world map u have option to se real map vs flat color map. Take a look. But both of them have controls for pritty much anything.
Hello, We want to locate on the map: Madeira, Martinique, Azores, French Guiana, Saint Martin (french), Guadeloupe, The Canary islands, La Reunion and Mayotte. Do these regions exist in your template ? Thanks
HI and sorry for late reply, In this project there is a lack of certain areas and countries, but in my other project FLAT WORLD MAP is much better and u will find there what u need and those areas and countries aswell.
Hi there, I’ve watched your tutorial but having an issue with changing colors on the countries. I’ve selected a different color – but it wont show. Any ideas?
Georgia and South Ossetia not part of Russia. Crimea is not belong to Ukraine. And many other mistakes in geography!
And where on this map Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan? In China?

Truly sorry about that, Im aware of some mistakes, and since I have planed to do better map didnt do updatate for that one. If you need those countries for your project, ask for refund I will agree on that and take a look at new map project on my profile. Flat world map. Its better quality, all the countries and option to switch from real earth into flat design. When and if u decide to buy this new map if u get any issues than u can send me an email and will fix it for you, free of charge. Once again sorry for the inconviniance
Is it possible to edit the outlines of a country? I editted the outlines in the EPS-file, and replaced the file in AE. The outlines did change in AE, but not the collored overlay. Can you help me?
I think you dont have to replace anything, find map you want to outline, they are in comp of continents. Find layer with your map name they are shape layer, turn off fill but not in effects but in the tools, and than add stroke from the tools and you will have outlines.

Hi I have bought it and I need it to highlight Islands in the Indian Ocean – I can see Comoros and the Seychelles – but there is no Mauritius??? Is that right???

So Sorry, my mistake, I apologies,, You are right, there is no Mauritius, I have missed that, maybe couple more small islands are missing. My mistake. Do you need any help? If yo do write me an email.
So this means I have wasted 2 days on a project. Can you put Mauritius in ? If not I would like a refund as Mauritius isn’t a really small Island – it is a famous tourist resort. Its a great product but this had kind off stuffed me as I have a deadline to meet.

ok again I maybe going stupid the Seychelles are not showing now? and the Mauritius stays black when I change the colours of the world. The 3 Islands that I need to Animate are Mauritius, Seychelles and Comoros.

I want to adjust the horizontal/vertical map lines but am unable to find the “Lines” layer as shown in your tutorial video or anywhere in the comp. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Go to MASTER RENDER COMP > HIT SHY BUTTON > 3RD LAYER FROM BOTTOM IS CALLED – Lines ( shape layer ) – and that’s it.

Hi there, I’m having an issue with changing the colors of outlines. In the North America section, the USA changes fine, but the Canada stays in the red color and does not allow me to change it. can you help? thanks

OK. In this project you can only reveal country with full color not just with outline. All color is connected to master control of the colors, so when u pick color u only reveal it with full color, no stroke no outline. Just like in the preview.
sorry, I did not mean outline. The color does not work. As I said, you have it red for Canada, for example, and I can’t change that color. Please help me

In world map description there is a link to dekar font, its free font, just download and install font, than relounch project and error should go away.

fantastic project. I would like to add the text as you have done in the beginning. How did you do that?
thank you. Make new comp. In that comp you type your text,let it play 1-2 sec, than stop, select that text and press shift+alt+d on PC or shift+option+d on MAC. U cut that way text layer and simultaneously create new one, type new text in that new text layer and just continue.
When I render the master comp,the video no animation?
Have you watched the tutorial?? You need to animate camera movement with keyframes, you have controls for camera in master comp, add keyframes for camera position/rotation and you will have your animation.
Thanks for your prompt response, correct me where is wrong, 1. it is said that the preview is all included (only image and video no in) 2. so I open the CS6 version with CC2015, it ask conversion 3. I directly goto master comp and render 4. the generated 2.6GB and no animation 5. It is true that everything you saw in the preview is included except videos, pictures and music, by that it is consider all visual parts, titles, text, call outs, slides and so on. Now, your conversion between AE versions makes no issues and it is not problem. The project like I have mentioned before gives you full control over the world. You manipulate with camera ( left, right, up down, rotation, zoom in, zoom out and so on ). This is not so easy project to work with, it takes time and devotion. What you saw in the preview is something that I have made possible with this project. This is NO simple drag&drop footage and roll on for one simple reason. You are not Limited with this project. In this project YOU make edit the way YOU like, not the way I do. That is way it is called World Map CONSTRUCTOR. You construct the world. Unfortunately I don’t have file with preview that you saw, I have made preview with project that you bought. TRUST ME, watch 1 and 2 part tutorial and you will make your animation possible. The last thing the color of picture can be change, by color control.
But the master/render MASTER/RENDER COMP 1920×1080,no animation?Why?Every AE file have a render simple in it,this one no have?
You are frome singapur, another buyer is from Italy, second one is from argentina, they dont want all the same animation like in the preview. That is whay i have not included animation in the project, it is simply tooo big and not convinient. Too much countries and states. This is project suitable for countries and their presentations of their heritage and culture. I did not included animation becouse simply I dont know for what purpose some buyer is going to use it for, and you can use it for lot of it.

You have to try to understand what im writting, you are not the only buyer, this is for all AE users that know how to use this project. Im sorry that is dificult for you to add keyframes by your self, but that is simply the way it is. In this project you have to zoom where you need to zoom, to pan where you need to pan. Im not prophet and can not know what everyone else are thinking. In this project you edit animation by yourself. Sorry if you find that dificult.

Hi, thank you for your support. About the project. The constructor has ability to display countries such as yours USA, China, Germany and so on, not the states, federations, provinces or other smaller parts of country. Im sorry about that, I was trying to make project more easy to work, but you have other options to add extra things to the map like in the preview, Its not possible to just make states in US but to avoid lets say provinces in Germany. Sorry no high-lite states option.
do i have control where in the country I can point to? Can I zoom into the USA and point to a part and place information without highlighting it?
You have total control, zoom, pan, left, right, up, down, u get pointers, sliders, lots of useful stuff. You can zoom anywhere in the US, lets say in the area where state Texas is and when you zoom u place there a pointer or call out, add your info, title and so on. Watch the preview and on the 30th sec. u stop and u will see diagram on the left that shows city map of buenos aires in that composition you can place any map, image. U can use that for instance to reveal certain map or location. U have detailed two part tutorial that will guide you how to use project from top to bottom. You have planty titles that u can use, everything you saw in the preview from the beginning till the end is in the project except photos and music. U watch tutorial and you can’t miss.

Hello dear buyer. Do not worry, its expression problem. Perhaps your AE is in FRANCH language. Just switch language to English and reopen project. Than if everything is Ok let me know.
