Unfortunately, the plugin does not work. I did everything as in the video instructions. Nothing happens after applying the effect. As if the effect was not applied. AE 2020 CC.

I’ve worked out what it is. My composition was 720p. At 1080p it works as expected. Anyway to adjust settings for it to work at 720p?
Hi. Missing controls is ok, clear – but I apply the effect and nothing happens, I tried already to change the parameter but doest appears. I would appreciate quick reply, thank you.
Did you check it out step by step the video tutorial?
Yes. I use pen tool, after I apply the preset, after the path lose the stroke, I see the path on screen but without the effect, I have check also in timeline different secs, or to play with the adjustments. You need to create a solid layer first and then use the pen tool. In the screenshot you have a shape layer. The preset only works with solid layers.

If you use the version of expressions and follow the installation instructions there should be no special problems.
I’ve found that it only seems to work for me in a composition size of 1920×1080. Is that meant to be how it works, or is it just glitching out for some reason? When I go higher, the 3 beams get separated and aren’t close together, and when I go smaller, I can only see the blue line. Thanks

Hi there, purchased this fabulous preset. Just one problem, when I install on Macbook Pro After Effects 12.0.1, I can only see the preset when I browse presets via Bridge, it does not show up in my Effects panel, any ideas? Jenny
Try to copy the preset in your Documents/Adobe/After Effects (Your version)/User Presets. And after that should appears in the Effects & Presets (Cmd+5) in the *Animation Presets folder. Thanks a lot for purchasing and if you like it dont forget to rate in the downloads section!!!
Hey Obispost, Thanks for the really rapid response. I copied to both the Applications / After Effects / Presets folder and the Documents / After Effects folder (There was no User Presets folder in the Documents After Effects folder, so I made one and copied in there too. So presently I have the presets sitting in three areas. The Applications one, the Documents / After Effects folder and a new Documents / AfterEffects / User Presets folder. I restarted my After Effects and my machine but still no joy. Any other ideas? Jen
Try grab it through the Bridge and apply to any layer an after that select all the effects that create the preset and try to save it (Menu > Animation>Save Animation Preset) in one of your 3 places.

Hey Obispost, So I tried your suggestion and I get this error:
This favorite contains 1 reference to a missing effect. Please install the following effect to restore this reference. (“Voltus_Controls”)

I can copy the presets from your Sample Comp but they are not showing in the panel.

So just wanted to let you know I got have the presets now showing up in the Effects panel in a folder called Animation Presets. Wonderful stuff! Very exciting.
One more question though, some of the items remain red and locked after I drag the effect out on to the layer i need it on…. For example the orange colour, I cannot change this at all. Am I doing something wrong?

Hello, I followed your tutorial but only the first color is showing up, not seeing anything else
I am adding a PNG image in, and then auto-tracing it. I have even tried adding to text and the same issue

Who ever you are, make more! This is one of the best if not the best preset of all times. The only worry is that wears out because is so good! So make more! I’m ready to throw my money
