I checked the keyframing of opacity for XO Elements and it works for me. I used CC2018 too. Try to open a clean project from Envato. Also you can try to use keyframing in layer “elements_slide№” in compositions “slide№_base”. For this case it is necessary to unlink opacity of this layer.

Hello! The project has the same settings by default as its render preview. Maybe you use low bitrate for rendering. I recommend you use the bitrate equal or higher than 10 Mbps

In this project you can change begin time parts, but not at the end. But you can do it if you display all the hidden layers at first (make the “Hide layers” option hidden) and then you must move the keys at the right time for you of this part (the keys on the all layers named Out (or OUT_…..) in compositions slide№_comp, slide№_comp2, slide№_base and slide№_base2)
