Instruction:
1- Download the zip file.
2- Extract it into “Project Files\01 Ultimate Earth Zoom Toolkit\(Footage)\05 SOURCE\Images\Map Images\” and replace the current folders
3- Don’t forget to update the “Coordinates” pre-comp.
Hi thank’s i have the map images now and i extract it into the folder and the map is oky but the last and the first image of the earth thy Start From Asia not from Europe and end again at Asia and i need it to start and to end in Europe.

One license can only be used for an end product. But your videos is related to this end product, you can use it many times.

Yes, Map Generator folder is in the UI Script folder. No antivirus and no firewall installed.

Hi, the thing is that something is blocking the map generator application on your system. I can’t say what it is unless analyse your mac.
But if you tell me the coordinates you want to zoom in, I can generate these map images for you. After copying them to your project folder, you can continue to work with the project. You won’t need the scrip anymore.

J’ai tout fait sur le projet juste les images de la carte ne sont pas là. quand je clique sur télécharger les images de la carte après avoir mis les coordonnées, rien ne se passe. Quand je prévisualise le projet, le zoom semble se diriger vers les coordonnées sélectionnées mais dès qu’il traverse les nuages, à la sortie le zoom continue dans le noir de l’espace. Je ne comprend pas.

J’ai essayé avec de coordonnées différentes, le résultat est le même. Les coordonnées sont enregistrées dans map générator mais le téléchargement des images ne marche pas. Quand je prévisualise, le zoom se dirige vers les coordonnées enregistrées mais à la sortie des nuages je me retrouve dans l’espace. De même le zoom arrière démarre dans l’espace et sortie des nuages je vois les coordonnées enregistrées mais beaucoup trop loin.

Mac AE version cc2018 yes copied map generator in correct folder no antivirus installed

Hello, I open up the aep file and it tells me that 145 files have been removed since I last opened it. Following that, it doesn’t let me import the downloaded coordinate images – it instead tells me to save the project in the same folder as the template. You told us how to prevent this by saving it in the right folder back in the tutorial, but it doesn’t seem to be working. Any solution?

So I tried running the aep file marked plug-in instead and that seemed to work. The 145 assets seem to be incorporated and the coordinate images can now download. However, it tells me that there are 6 missing effects, such as “particular”, “plexus”, and four variants of plexus. Are those not included or do I need to import them from a different folder? Are they necessary?
There is 2 type of project files. One of them is a plug-in version. Try to open the other one ”Ultimate Earth Zoom Toolkit.aep”
That’s the one I’ve had trouble with. What is the difference between the two? Also, I am unable to edit the settings of the intro as you have been doing in the beginning of the third tutorial video. All i get is a white box that I can zoom in and out of?
Regarding your second issue, if you double click on an object in after effects, it brings its content to the viewer. Probably you double clicked on a null object. Hi! Is it possible to look at the globe rotating for a bit (10 seconds or so) after zooming out of a location? Example: I want a location, zoom out of the location, now I see the globe in space, camera stays static 10 sec the globe is slowley rotating. Thanks for your help!
There is a settings for this purpose. It’s called “Pause Before Zoom-in” and it can be found in the Scene Settings compositions. Please check out the “04 Adjusting duration and scene settings” tutorial around 6:00 for more information.

I”m sorry I haven’t purchased it yet, probably that’s the reason I can’t make the map generator work. I think I understand that the took won’t work with my coordinates unless I pay. Anyway, could you please share any sample images if not my coordinates?

If you are working on the same project you can share the AE project files but if you want to use script on your computer as well then you need to buy another one.
