It seems that bing maps is no longer working in map generator because BING MAPS FOR ENTERPRISE has been retired. Probably it can be fixed by AUTHOR. Please, can you take a look to it so bing maps can be used again? thank you

I need to be able to zoom in to a portion of the globe, rotate slightly, then zoom in fully to my coordinate. Is there anyway to accomplish this? I tried but cant figure out how to do it.

Hi, version v3.8.4 on a Mac (Big Sur, After Effects 2021) the map generator doesn’t work, it freezes and doesn’t download anything at all.
This issue can occur due to permission settings or internet restrictions. Here are a few steps that may help resolve it:
1. Move the project files to a different location. For example, if they’re on the D: drive, try moving them to C:/Desktop, or vice versa.
2. Adjust the template folder permissions to allow read/write access.
3. Ensure that your antivirus or firewall isn’t blocking the script file, as this may prevent images from being generated.
To generate images manually, open “Map Generator.html” in the “_Map Browser” folder. You’ll find step-by-step instructions there. Each step includes a short video to guide you through the process.

Hey, the zoom in/out is driven by an expression. You can try turning it off and adjusting the value manually to see if it works the way you need.

Thanks! You can easily adjust the zoom level for planets using the provided options, but when it comes to space, you’ll need to tweak the keyframes manually.
