looking to add a different face after every tick of the second hand ..can this work ??
This can be done by editing, create the same shot several times with several faces, render the videos and edit the shots.
I bought this and in 15 minutes I was rendering a clock with simulated timelapse effect to match a timelapse video of a car engine replacement. Very happy with this purchase and the results. Looks great and super-easy to use. Thanks so much!!! Very nicely done.

Everything looks really good, and it is quite easy to configure each clock just like you want it! But the rendering times are… SLOW... No matter what combination of clock and output format I choose, AE crawls like nothing I’ve ever seen. The funny thing is that the previews are quite fast (maybe 10 seconds for every second of the clock), but as soon as I start to render, it’s up to several minutes for every second. Even if I turn every layer off except e.g. the minute handle, it’s still as slow. Tried it on two relatively new computers, one PC and one Mac. Same results. Anything I’m doing wrong? Anything I can do to speed things up?
You just need a more powerful computer, you are not making anything wrong and the project is very high detailed for best looking results, soon I’ll try to make an update and add a “lite version” for faster rendering, for now try to render the clock only as png sequence or avi with alpha channel and use the rendered footage in your project.

this is a great template and has been extremely useful, thank you! this may seem like a silly question, but how to stop the second hand once you get to 12?
you can stop the clock by creating a clock speed keyframe and give it zero value
I use now AE 2020. Sadly i get almost on every template with expressions a bunch of expression errors. Also with this product here. It seems that an update is urgently needed. Will you release an update for AE2020 shortly?
I can’t find any expression errors on AE2020!, what expression engine are you using? you must be using “JavaScript” so please return to Legacy ExtendScript and everything should be just fine. File > project settings > expressions > Legacy ExtendScript if you need any further help just contact me via email
Just purchased. Cool! Need effect to run 2 min and not 30 seconds. How can I do this?
Help! I love this… but I don’t need the minutes or hour hands! Can’t find a way to eliminate them.
Also… I need to run for 90 seconds. Can’t find that, either.
To hide any layer just press “Shy” switch, you’ll see all the layers, hide the minute and hour hands. to make it run for 90 seconds just make the composition 90 seconds and pre-compose it then time remap.
