Any tips for rendering tests that will go quick? Looks great but I have to render to make sure everything matches up right, but 10 hours per test render is a long time.
Positive: Effects are created modular, and there are many ways you can combine them. This way you can create many different projects. Also all effects last long enough to make any scene’s duration flexible.
Negative: Every effect exist of a huge number of layers. After Effects is choking on this. Even when set on a quarter resolution, it is hard to get a smooth preview which makes it difficult to synchronize with music or narration. (My system i7 3.4Ghz, 64bit, 16 GB RAM) Furthermore it took me over 10 hours to render 1 minute movie.
Although the results are astonishing, it is not likely that I will use this again. Sorry.
Thanks for the detailed review. In any not pre-rendered FX multi layer project is hard to get a smooth preview. My equipment is more powerful, but it’s still not real time preview, it takes 5 – 15 seconds to effect . You yourself say that the results are astonishing. Sometimes, to get this result, you have to spend a little more time. PS/ About using it again , with a regular license, you can not use it again. Sorry
