I just purchased this but I have AE 5.0 and looks like none of the files open with my version. What can I do?
You can do two things: 1) ask some one with 5.5 to resave the project file to cs5 2) install 5.5 (i think maybe demo even, if it allows by legal agreement) demo and resave .aep to your version.
i have cs6, so can save only to 5.5.
