Hi, does this come with the 3 dots animation you see when someone is typing?

Thanks for your feedback. Right now you can do this using this toolkit with a quick trick. Basically you will need to stack two messages together from the same sender. The first message can have the 3 dots as the text field: ”...”. Then simply set the end time of that 3 dots message to be the same as the start time of the actual message. This way the 3 dots disappear when the text message loads up.
Hi! Your toolkit is realy great.But how can I put video file into message box? I tried but the video freezes after a few frames…
Hi, thank you for your comment, I am glad you like the toolkit. You cannot place a video in the box, you can only place a photo in the message box.

The supplied is the maximum amount ( 10 messages from each end). In a case where you need to make more messages, the best thing to do is to render a 10 messages conversation, then render separate 10 message conversation. Following this you can import the exported videos and edit them together to form a longer Message Conversation.

This is my first time using After Effects, so I might ask some basic questions. I need to make videos for Instagram and TikTok, a chat conversation fitting the portrait format. I’ve changed the composition size, but the text boxes and image avatar are too far out, they are not centered on the “screen”. I’ve tried to transform/move them, but I don’t think I’m doing it right.
1) What is the correct way of moving all the left messages (including avatar) to the right so they are within the screen? 2) How to I add a top and a background so it looks like the messages are on a phone? 3) I would like the messages “I” write to be spelled out like typewriter animation, and the replies from others should be just showing up (like they are on a phone). How do I do that? 4) Is is possible to have a dotted animation to indicate the other one is replying?

Hi, Thank you for reaching out to us.
If you are new to After Effects, it might be a bit difficult to achieve certain things that are not directly available in the package. Since some of the things mentioned above are quite complex. This being said I am leaving a few points below to help you out as much as possible
I do not recommend to change the composition size, since this might affect the overall look of the project.
1. to move the messages close to each other, the toolkit has an each feature that helps you to adjust this. From the ‘Text Message Suite’, in ‘Main Properties’, you can tweak the ‘Spacing between messages’. Simply scrub the slider to select which position is good for you. This will decrease or increase the distance between left and right messages.
2. Unfortunately this is not a feature of the toolkit and cannot be made directly with the toolkit. I recommend to render/ export the whole message conversation as a video file, then re import it into a fresh project of after effects. You can then find an image of a mobile screen ui, (or even take screenshot on your phone), and place the exported video over that image.
Regarding questions 3 and 4 these cannot be made directly with our project, and requires a bit of work to tweak.

Hi, yes of course, any text in the toolkit can be changed. You can even change the text per single message, and its text position, etc. It is very modular!
Hi, i have just bought your item but when i open it on AE 2021 on a mac, the text messages are not scrolling down automatically on the main scene. They all appears on the top of the screen and pops up over the the first messages and we can’t read the old messages. Changing spaces between messages doesn’t affect at all, nor vertical position Basically, it does not appear as a text conversation. I haven’t change anything at all, it appears at first when i open your project. The timeline is as yours on your help video tutorial.. I need your answer quick my project must be done quickly for my client.

This being said, the first thing that comes to mind is the After Effects language, can you check that it is in English, since this sometimes give problems even though the project is universalized for all languages.
If not, please try to change this to English, and let us know if this helps.
