Yes. What you get is the MOV files, these can be imported into After Effects.

sorry to bother. new to motion after effects. how would i use the transition to create the effect like your demo between the two images? is this something that is possible with AE or do I need to use premiere to achieve this?

I’m not able to show you how to use After Effects, but you use ‘track matte’ to combine the alpha in/out videos with your footage, and layer this over the light/dark blocks video.
