Does it work if I wanted to make the video vertical (9:16)?
Hi alaamassad, resolution: 4K horizontal (3840×2160) and Full HD horizontal (1920×1080), 4K square (2160×2160) and Full HD square (1080×1080). You can insert the final 4k comp into 1080×1920 (Full hd) and scale without loss of quality. example

Loving using this but one question! I can see how to select the square options and use the markers to make it square safe. When you output the video looks fairly similar though. In your demo it actually seems to output as square but not for me. I’m using V3 of the non-kit options btw. Is it just a guide and it’ll just work on Facebook and Instagram or have I set something wrong and I should actually see a square video when I render. Thanks in advance for your help and advice on this.
Thanks, it’s very simple. Please see the lesson “2 New fuatures v2”. First set marker (settings >> visual >> square safeframe >> on). Now you will see how it will look in the square, it is useful for you to properly crop the photo. Then open the “Render folder” and select “Full HD square” or “Ultra HD square” and drag to render queue.
Hmmm. It’s really weird. My Full HD Square settings are 2160×1080. Of course I see in your video, as you would expect, it’s 1080×1080 and as shown in your video. I re-downloaded the file to double check and it’s the same. Track 4 is OK 1080×1080 but I’d still expect the preview above to look square but it doesn’t. But I think V3 is actually slightly off. I output both square versions on V3 and they came out the same – landscape. I was editing an existing file that was not square do my images were wide. Do I maybe need to adjust the output setting to crop it? Maybe it’s converting to Mac (that I’m using) that’s the issue. I have edited my files so it fits OK within the square guides but I just can’t output it right atm, I’m not exactly a AE ninja btw.

Hi, the color of the particles can be changed by any mono color.
